Thank you Dr. David! Anxiety is such a common issue for many people. I wish medical marijuana were more available to the everyday person who suffers with what I call "free floating anxiety" - or has a GAD. Is there a certain age that your patient must be for you to prescribe medical marijuana? I recall that as a child I had such severe anxiety at times it was difficult to function. Of course, way back then it was "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" kind of response. I remember it being extremely debilitating.
@judith14011 - Hi Judith, You are very welcome! Anybody with debilitating symptoms of anxiety qualifies for medical cannabis. Debilitating is defined as if a patient needs to do something for treatment such as medication or therapy in order to overcome the negative symptoms of the anxiety. It would be great if more word would get out about this. I have treated children with autism who exhibit anxiety as young as three years old. Take care, Dr. David
