    In order to keep our recommendations up to date, we maintain a 'Buyer's Guide' (with a wide spectrum of models, and a lot of technical and lifestyle-related information). Organizing our recommendations this way makes it easier to include good models that we haven't made review-videos for yet, as well as to remove models which have developed unforeseen wear-issues over time, or which have been weakened by the manufacturer in their current iterations. You can access the guide (in addition to our 4-part video series on Choosing the Right Stroller for your Lifestyle, and other helpful content), as well as contact us directly on Patreon: www.patreon.com/posts/stroller-buyers-37953864
    These materials are also available via channel membership on CZcams: www.youtube.com/@BarnevognverkstedNo/membership , and BuyMeaCoffee: buymeacoffee.com/thestrollerworkshop

    I’ve seen people asking for a Peg Perego Selfie stroller review, I’d love the same. We own a Peg Perego full size stroller, although not perfect, we’ve used it with both of our children and we are very happy with it. Being made in Italy, our expectations are quite high and we were wondering if the Selfie model would live up to its name.. “Selfie” self-folding stroller, I wonder if the mechanism is reliable and the stroller durable…etc. I appreciate your reviews!

    hello what do you think about the Greentom strollers? The concept seems great ( "the greenest stroller on Planet Earth") but what about the rest? Is it a good quality stroller?
    thank you so much

    • @BarnevognverkstedNo
      @BarnevognverkstedNo Před 2 lety +2

      I haven't seen any Greentom models yet unfortunately, but I'll certainly check them out if they come to Norway. :) As far as the environment is concerned, a lot of stroller manufacturers these days are pretty good on the production end with using recycled and recyclable materials, but usually less good at providing access to the spare parts and repair services needed to make sure that strollers are passed / sold on, as opposed to getting scrapped. Note that recycling itself emits greenhouse gases, not as bad as what comes from production, but still, a true commitment imo is about making sure that products are re-used for as long as possible. :)

    • @BarnevognverkstedNo
      @BarnevognverkstedNo Před 2 lety +1

      Not really, I think the market was different and the price was lower, so as a result, our review of the original Metro was better too. That being said, if you're looking to get the model, and there's a big price difference between getting either of them new, then I'd probably just go with the original model. :)

      @@BarnevognverkstedNo thanks! Actually I'm looking for an used model and the first one is easier to find. But thanks to your reviews I'm essentially looking for the uppababy minu. So hard to find in the used market though, so the Metro is my second option.

      I've owned and used the original model almost since it was released. I'm now here because TSA broke the folding mechanism as hinted in the video.

    Would you choose the yoyo over this one? I really liked your review on the older version of metro and would have gotten than but can't find it in the UK. The plus is available and is much cheaper than the yoyo but now that I watched this I'm thinking is yoyo more reliable? Our purpose is primarily travelling. @BarnevognverkstedNo Před 2 lety +2

      The Yoyo is still king in my opinion - though due to the high price and the fact that the raincover is no longer included with purchase (and the fact that the changes between the yoyo+ and the yoyo2 aren't really significant), it's one of those that I would first look for on the used market.

      The Colugo is cute, but if you're tall, it's going to be a pain. I purchased the Colugo and ultimately had to return it because as a 6' tall woman, I was constantly kicking the break by accident just walking normally.

    hello, I choose a 2-in-1 stroller, I am from Russia, we have cold snows in our winters, but I don’t know which one to take so that it’s good in summer, and the quality of the roads is very bad, good shock absorption is needed, but it’s also light, since a lot will have to be folded stroller, I like your videos, but which one would you recommend to me, also so that it is reliable! thanks

    Hi thanks for the detailed review! I live in a city, I’m looking for a lightweight compact stroller I can use for for an everyday stroller. Preferably one that has a flat or almost flat recline and also accepts a car seat and has good maneuverability for a big city with bad roads.
    My top two that’s decently priced are the #1 ergobaby metro+ (it has a lot of features I like and the removable seat but seeing your video I’m concerned about the wheels and longevity), #2 Baby Jogger city tour 2 (don’t like that the seat isn’t removable and wish the canopy was larger) and #3 mima zigi z3 (very pricy in comparison to the other two).
    Please I’d love to know your thoughts and recommendations?

    Thanks for this review. I have used this one for 7months and it's nothing but nightmare. The folding system is extremely difficult and totally not possible by one hand. The shopping basket is TINY and hard to reach. But the worst is that the wheels eroded very quickly. I haven't had any experience with other small strollers but I really wouldn't recommend this one!

    Great review as always. Might make a compact travel stroller, but other than that the complete lack of suspension would completely rule this model out for me.
    I could swear I left a comment recently under one of your videos on buying recommendations, but it got deleted probably (I heard YT does this these days to random comments). Otherwise I can't think of anything I wrote that would be against any rules?
    My personal decision would not only depend on looks and function, but also on the ethics of the companies in question. Where do they produce? How do they treat their workers? Are they giving themselves a 'green' image but haul their products around half the world before they're being sold? Do they provide good customer service, even for second-hand models? In a world with fewer and fewer resources these aspects aren't to be neglected. After all, many of the strollers reviewed often cost as much as a used car or more than some people's monthly salary.
