I love vanilla style prehistory mods, they are always made super realistic with more blocks than a normal vanilla creature which saddens me to no end. This is a great mod, thanks for showcasing it
I unnderstand why Dickinsonia was placed under the plant category here (a stationary block instead of a mob), but it's not a plant! It was likely one of the earliest animals :)
To excuse them, the modder has placed Dickinsonia in the "plants of prehistory" part of the guide book, so its not really his fault for not knowing any better

You know, I’ve been working on a manatee-based mod and do have plans for an undead Stellar Sea Cow, but judging by the ones in this mod I may have to make the models a bit bigger. Again.
Well a block in Minecraft is a meter long, so you can use that as a reference point when making your model, a Stellar Sea Cow was 8 to 9 meters long so it would be 8 to 9 blocks long in game which is pretty massive.

No one can agree exactly what Dickinsonia was. And since we know basically nothing of its lifestyle, any kind of behavior is reasonable. Even being utterly sessile.
Definitely one of my favorite mods! 1.20.1 def seems to be the golden version for biology fans! if only pelagic history could come to 1.20.1. but from what i read some drama happened within the team where the programmer left so a port to 1.20.1 is prob never gonna happen
While I love this mod, I'm actually over revival JP style dino mods. I prefer things like Alex's Caves where they're in the world. That said, I still enjoy this. I love the trilobites.

This is a REALLY nice mod, with well done planned features! Ps: i do however miss a really large apex predator. Perhaps some kind of shark.
Well this mod is an addon to Unusual Prehistory which does have a couple of large predators.
The showcase can be more good looking and elegent with shaders!
