  • Hey everyone! In this video I'll be going through the products I carry in my makeup artist kit. I'm pretty sure I missed some things, but overall I'll be covering the basics. Hope you can learn a few things!!! Enjoy! (:

Your kit is so good I wish I had it and I am not a MUA lol. This type of but a smaller kit for myself was my dream from MAC but I have sensitive skin and I break out with Studio Fix. I had to stop using it and it was the biggest heartbreak cause I have oily skin and studio fix powder was a dream (years ago). But I broke out so badly whenever I used it and I have no idea if they renewed the formula but I still use Mac products other than skin concealer/foundation/powders. I wish they had a clean beauty line like some brands started doing. I am interested and buying makeup since 2000s and I love it. I loved the kit you have and can't wait to watch makeup hacks and tricks from you :)

Your bag is a decent size I enjoyed your video. Your kit is very realistic and you have good products.

just a heads up lipsticks cannot be sanatized with alcohol.

do you have another suggestion? isopropyl alcohol is commonly used in makeup stores to sanitize cream based products. this is also why applicators are used (:

@@kailinamahealani heyyy, so alcohol is only supposed to be used for powders actually ! when you put it in creams it can’t fully sanitize it & bacteria will still be stored in them, especially if that item is in a tube, it cannot penetrate deep enough to fully sanitize it & bacteria will be stuck at the bottom of the product. but with powders it’s okay because it fully gets in the surface, my suggestion is to use a spatula to either place the cream on a pallete or the back of your hand, that way you’re only using a disposable 1 time & arent double dipping. or for example if you’re using a cream lipstick you can take a disposable & put it straight in the original lipstick/gloss then apply on your client & if you need more go in with a different disposable, or you can scrape some lipstick off the original product with your spatula, place on a palette then go in with a brush, as long as you’re using the same brush on the client & taking it straight from the pallete you placed it on then it’s sanitary, if you’re using a cream blush the same goes, they need to be scraped with a spatula onto a pallete, if not you can go in the product directly with a clean brush but if you’re going to use more of the same product you need to take another clean brush to continue to apply on your clients face that way you’re not double dipping. i hope this helped !
