The real answer to that wall is to turn it into a sod cast and plant a hedge, or buy in new square stone to help build it properly. Those round stones never make good walls, you just can’t lock them in properly. 4 years and they’ll be Down.
@@minnesotamarine9861 we had a wall like this on our farm, only 350 years old ish. But stone wallers weren’t even putting in quotes. So we took the wall down to about 1 quarter left. Double fenced it and put a hedge in. 7 years later it’s full of birds and berries and gives shelter to the stock. Most of our farm is walls and I build a lot of walls. But round stone are awful to work with and they do what they do best, roll out 🙈😆

Surprising, some of the walls that I saw built just like that in Ireland have been there for around 900 years.
