I just bought the 55 inch for $350 Black Friday deal. I’m so excited! Been eyeing it for months but never wanted to pay the full $499. Currently had an old Seiki tv for 7 years so I’m excited to finally make an upgrade. It’ll be a huge upgrade for me compared to my old one.
Just did the same and picked up the same model. I picked up a cheaper Class 4 some time ago for in the exercise room and have been very pleased with it, so went with another TCL for the living room update. Never had any complaints about the brand.
I AM IN LOVE AND IN AWE of the TCL q7. I am blown away . never had such beautiy in my eyes before. from a 32 in gaming monitor to this 55 inch is AMAZING. addicted! wow!
Ong I started looking into q7s and I just bought a q6 🤣🤣 but then I remembered there’s barely any games that can run 4k/120fps so I’m not missing much haha
1:18 i LITERALLY just bought it on Amazon for 317.99. Intended to get it in October but say the price drop from 369 to 317 OVER NIGHT so I grab that deal!
I bought the Q6 85 in for $899. Its was out of stock and best buy deliver it for free. Its a good thing because that tv will never fit my car. Its a big upgrade from my 65in LG HDR tv. Dont let the name brand fool you. The picture is so bright and sharp.
folks, on sale for 319 not 500. couple of months that qm8 will be down. new tcl models coming soon. prices lowering. this is a steal at 319. suspect the q7s will be son sale next/soon. cheers
Curious to know if anyone has used this as a PC monitor and if they've been happy with the image. Rtings gives this a good score for PC monitor use, but my experience is that upscaling is poor and anything that isn't native 4k content will look awful (hypersharp, noisy, pixelated). It supports Chroma 4:4:4, so text is actually really good, but video and images from a PC source that aren't natively 3840x2160 resolution won't look good. Would be useful to see PC monitor testing and not just game console use tested and reviewed on this channel.
I have an 85 inch and I have my apple TV and watch Dolby Vision thru it which is a much better picture than the HDR10 that the tv comes with. It can support Dolby Vision. It is not built in as an option.

I BOUGHT 85" TCL QM8 in really f*n good deal , QM8 is GREAT TV , VERY bright, DEEP inky blk & colors is vivid , If u wanna get TCL TV get that one, is really good TV with stunning Pic, brightness , colors & blks ..got Glory reviews all over the You tube🤘 i don't know about this model
No se si ya la compraste bro, pero las TVs Hisense de media o baja gama solo tienen bonitos displays pero lo demás esta algo mediocre. Conviene más la Q650g por que el paquete completo es muy bueno por el precio.

Does motoon smoothing work on netflix shows and navigating through the menu??? Does it look smoother ? Like 120hz
