  • To many, the real St. Patrick’s Day parades take place in neighborhoods across the tri-state area.
While Saturday’s parade in Manhattan is 263 years old and perhaps the largest in the world, the Brooklyn St. Patrick’s Day parade has just as much joyous Irish spirit.

When I grew up in East Flatbush, it was a blend of Jewish Italian, some Asian,. few blacks. All got along...now I wouldn't recognize the block I grew up on, the place is solid Caribbean.

I hate to say it but, St. Patrick is NOT IRISH! 😣 He's Always been Italian! So....for many years, people have been dressed in Green and they've been using the Wrong Flag! 😠 Can we all start using the Italian Flag 🇮🇹 Every Year! 😊

He was from Wales and was kidnapped and brought to Ireland and used as a slave. Dont forget Ireland was a pagan country that time, and after several years he escaped and went back home to wales. He studied christianity and be went back to Ireland and converted the irish to christianity . We never claimed him as irish.
