You should do a guardsmen regiment version of the chapter scheme videos.
Bro I've got PLANS cooking for guardsmen but that car repair bill tanked them 😭 I gotta wait a bit to get some kits to use. Either that or find some semi-decent STLs 😮💨
The over-emphasized way in which you said "Flesh Eaters" in the intro got me good
Time to come clean that I spliced out "Flesh Tearers" and quickly redubbed a "Flesh Eaters" line there 😂
So, I'm one of those four Iron Hands boys. The Iron Lord was kinda a Captain, but more like a chapter master. He'd have a few thousand marines under his direct command, his clan company, and acted mostly on their own, with their own supplies and forges
IRON HANDS PLAYER IN THE WILD 👀
But thank you for the insight! It can be hard to track the intricacies of every legion and chapter I cover 😅
That "Misery Business" pun immediately got it stuck in my head, thank you 😂
Pro tip: if I ever mention a band or musical artist, search the surrounding script for multiple references. I cant help myself 😂
my man did one of my favorite Iron hands Successors besides the Red pants boys. you know about the theory that their founder isn't Manus's kin? anyways dude we are the same age.
Fellow 1994 chad 😎🤝😎
I have actually heard that, although I didnt think of mentioning anywhere in my script since I wasn't super familiar with the whole theory 😮💨
sweet! I always love seeing custom prosthetics in minis.
Glad you like it chief! We definitely need more robolegs in this new age of Primaris marines
That servo skull turned out really cool! While it was a bit rude to call it a targeting slut, it feels like an accurate description.
“I was 4 in 1998”. You want them to feel old? My brother, I was -4 in 1998 😂. Another great video my man. Found you through your Angelic Mortis video and I have been enjoying all of your content since. Keep up the great work!
Much respect for our venerable battle brother here! Although according to my CZcams analytics, there's like ONE guy here who's 65+ so someone's got you beat by a few years 😅
Oh no, I feel my body turning to dust. I'm gonna cry 😱
But for real, thanks youngin'! I appreciate the kindness 😎
Pentarchy of Blood
Carchrodons - Basically Chapter made out of Alastor Rushals
Flesh Eaters - Hannibal Lecter enthusiasts
Red Talons - Cyborg Psychopaths
Death Eagles - Emperor's Children cosplaying as Raven Guard
Charnel Guard - Romanians
I’d like to see you do kitbashes of the “official” chapters with absolute 0 info on them. Chapters like the “contenders” or “dark brotherhood”. Would be cool to what decision you make with chapters where you basically have full free-reign
I did a little bit of that for the Mythos Angelica Mortis but yeah, there are some Chaos warbands that are just ripe for the pickin' on a project like that
Great job! I like to see some love for first born. It feels like it has been ages since I have seen a first born kitbash
Thank you! I still really love Firstborn armor and kit designs but I do enjoy some Primaris as well. Most people these days are probably just using Primaris out of sheer availability but I agree, you just can't beat a classic
When you do the Death Eagles, PLEASE do their original color scheme. The chaotic purple-and-white is incredibly soulful
The video's already made and uploaded, but I can neither confirm or deny the color of the model for spoilers
👀
I really like this chapter and the conversion is fantastic. I like the robo leg. I also have trouble deciding between RT and Iron Lords as my favorite Iron Hand successor.
Thank you chief! And while I like the Red Talons, I gotta say
BIG RED PANTS GANG BIG RED PANTS GANG BIG RED PANTS GANG 🙌
Amazing work as always brother - always cool seeing you bring attention to these smaller chapters. A wicked mini (the artificial leg is a great touch) and an excellent paint job on top of that and you get one stellar video. Epic stuff as always 😁.
Oh and 1998? Despite me not being born yet, boy does it still feel like yesterday 😅
Another pentarchy banger! Well done amigo! 🙌🏼 Seriously LOVING these vids!
awesome kitbashing and production . both lore and kitbash content . keep cooking king .
As one of the four Iron Hands, I believe the Chapter Masters of Successor companies are called Iron Captains...and they all are part of the Iron Council.
Remember...if in doubt...it's just Iron...or Hand...
@@TheLichsLaboratory Ironfather Feros would like a hand with the ironing.
Great Video man! Also, I am indeed a Black Templar Terminator. I have the crest tattooed upon my shoulder.
Your lore retelling is 👌
damn, I was hoping my lore retelling would be ✌️🤏
Or 🤙✊
Or maybe even 👉👌
Or, if you're kind of a freak, even 🙏💪👇😏
Hell yeah another Iron hands successor
Damn, been giving them too much attention. Alright, no more Iron Hands content for the next..........forever. Thanks chief 😏
I wad worried the red would be too light during the video but it turn out amazing once again! Love the runner-style prosthetic, looks unique and fit for combat. The pauldron trim color as a company marker thing is something I never really liked, but your roll being 8 got you the most complimentary choice 😂
Doom Eagles are next then, if I remember right they had some weird and interesting lore, but I could remember wrong.
Also hey, fellow 90s kid, I figured as much bit didn't want to assume. '96 here so a few years behind.
I agree, sometimes you can get some sorta ugly combos, but with the scope of marines being so fast, having a rainbow color system for a rainbow color faction makes the most sense logistically lol. And yes, Doom Eagles next up! 😁
sweet bionic & servoskull scratch-builds. And hey, very interesting stuff about Galthites, especially since Decimator fluff has it that they were partially made based on xenos tech, so curious to see another angle/development to that
I'm not gonna say some of the other, Big Guns-associated events found in this comments section, but I will say - I'd love to see you cover the Abyssal Crusade.
I already did a video about some Chaos Warbands of the Abyssal Crusade actually! 😁
@@TheLichsLaboratory I think I may have mandela effected myself lol becauce youtube is telling me i've watched that video. oh well
Wait Sun Zu said that? I thought that was a quote from Abraham Lincoln. Here I've been misquoting the poor guy. I'll buy Kennedy a drink the next time I see him.
Oh, yeah, wait. Well done on the paint job too.
a note on it being called the gothic crusade/war, that region of space is called the gothic sector i believe
That is very true
...but then again, aren't they ALL gothic sectors...? 🤔
I'm sorry 😂
Excellent work, never really seen bionics scratchbuilt like that, definitely need to give it a try at some point! Got an iron warriors Stor-Bezashk that could use one 'w'
Go for it! It's pretty fun to do in general and obviously super customizable
Prosthetic foot looks great! I should do that for my chapter ancient
Oh yeah, prosthetic legs. They're all the rage in ancients circles, they're so in 😏
@@TheLichsLaboratory Given how many casualties my chapter takes in the lore, it makes sense for an ancient to have lost a limb (Angels of Vengeance moment)
Ferris rules youngster! iron Hands are the best damned legion around, we got tanks and dreadnoughts out the wazoo! Better than blueberries, who plays blueberries anyway???😅
But seriously, love the video, love to see some love for my faction and it's offshoots.
"I dont wanna hear about how pluto isnt a planet" actually i think its planet status has been given back to it, as in order for it do be a moon(it was previously classified as a dwarf moon) it has to orbit a larger celestial body in proximity. Pluto has no larger body to orbit, unless you count the sun, so it couldnt be a moon.
I don’t believe Pluto has ever been classified as a moon. The classification it was put into in 2006 and currently has is dwarf planet. This classification means it orbits a star and is massive enough to make itself spherical, like a planet, but is not able to ‘clear its neighborhood,’ meaning it doesn’t have the gravitational pull to clear all objects in its orbit.
This definition was created because of the discovery of Eris, a planet-like object of similar size to Pluto. It was initially described as the ‘tenth planet.’ No new planet had been discovered in 75 years. There was no hard definition of what made something a planet and the International Astronomical Union had specific guidelines on the naming of small astronomical bodies but not new planets. This led to some disputes about the matter. Astronomers were also confident more such objects would be discovered (which is true; another six were) and questioned why Ceres, a large spherical object in the asteroid belt didn’t count when Pluto did.
This all led to the IAU inventing the designation of ‘dwarf planet,’ essentially because otherwise they’d have to increase the number of planets and they found that ‘clearing the neighborhood’ thing in common. The distinction doesn’t actually mean much from a strictly scientific perspective, pretty much just existing to resolve the aforementioned disputes and so the general public doesn’t have to memorize seventeen planets in the Solar System.
This is way longer than anybody probably cares to read, but yknow, I gotta use those astronomy classes for something.
as an iron hands fan, I sum up the iron hands successors as such:
iron lords are iron hands but imperial fists
red talons are iron hands but flesh tearers
star dragons are iron hands but salamanders
sons of medusa are iron hands but black templars
brazen claws are iron hands but blood angels
steel confessors are iron hands but dark angels
Iron Fists are iron hands but iron warriors
Knights of Byzantium are iron hands but ultra marines
there are also several unconfirmed ones like the storm wardens (add white scar) and the emperors hands (add a lot of black templar). I could probably find more if I dug around enough.
Reading this list I have a lot of projects in the Iron Hands sphere by sheer coincidence.
Hm. 🤔
These guys are really cool for their little lore... or am i thinking of the Brazen Claws... eh.
Kids these days are all claws and talons and hands and tearing and eating. Whatever happened to just using a utensil and eating like a civilized person, you aint gotta dig in with your grubby mitts 😤
Yeah - bash us long fangs. I was born before Warhammer was a thing. I was 15 years old when I got into Warhammer in my youth. That was during SECOND edition.
The game now has 10 editions under it's belt. I got back into the hobby in 2011 - when 5th edition was in full swing. It would take some years before 6th edition rolled around.
What I'm saying is: Don't come at me with your youth. I was there when Horus killed the Emperor.
(But really it's insane that 6 editions happened in 13 years - while from 1987 to 2011 they only had 5 editions - I'm not sure "newer is always better honestly" - but corporations selling plastic crack is always the best in their eyes.
I kneel to your wisdom, oh venerable relic of the Heresy 🙌
But yeah, it's crazy to see the pace of the game over the years. It's weird to think that I was in high school in 5th and 12 years later 5 editions have passed
If you're taking suggestions for obscure Xenos, I'd like to see Tarellian Dog Soldiers.
Red Corsairs would be a nice video
I wasn't sure to do a Red Corsairs video independently or save it for a potential Badab series honestly 🤔
@@TheLichsLaboratory well, it’s your channel, so whatever you do decide is good
@@Fan_of_the_hobby I own this shit??? When the hell did that happen 😂
But yeah, dont worry, I've got them in my sights
He could go with the pirate look for them. They are my favorite Chaos warband funny enough, they take anyone in. Former loyalist to those that dislike abby
@@Matt-md5yt I hate the current warmaster, I’m only gonna buy his model so I can convert it
You should defiantly do a abhuman video of the abhumans allowed in the guard
I feel you man I was 12 in 1998 😅😅
Good to see some folk in these comments who aren't 2000's babies 😂
Real quick though.
What primarch would it be funniest for the false primarch to pretend to be?
100% Kurze
>"wait guys I meant that as a joke, he ACTUALLY did that?? Jesus"
Ah yes the sons of the Moonman
@@TheLichsLaboratory But yeah all jokes aside, the Flesh Tearers and Marines Malevolent get investigated for going too far but not these guys? Their entire war doctrine was based on "I-Can't-Believe-It's-Not-Exterminatus" raids developed during the Heresy. So what's it metastasized into now?
@@gasmonkey1000 Here, lemme help sweep alllllll that under the rug for you 🤫 🧹
Mu chaotic nature wants more chaos bands
On one hand I'm looking to take a small break form marines, but on the other I'm a complete moron and want to just dive back into Chaos warbands 😂 Take a break from marines with marines. Yeah, I'm a real smart guy
Oh it’s the mentally unstable iron hands
"Least psychotic successor chapter" is certainly an eye-catching title of irony to be proud of in a way 😅
Hol up… is that Custom Robo music?
It is! I'm a big Custom Robo fan 😎 I always source my music in the bottom left when the track starts 😁
@@TheLichsLaboratory Its crazy how they made one of the best games on the Gamecube and then did only like one other game afterwards

Alright you youngins, if your birthday starts with a 2 you're not allowed to mention it. Stop making me feel old god dammit 😭
Ya played with fire. I won’t be surprised if your viewer demographic skewed atleast partially younger.
