Every time Joel makes a video i come in to say thank you to GW /Joel for a reason, he really is one of the best teachers bar none. If Joel ever does a GW in deep or what ever video i wont even think twice about buying, it, i bet you i am not alone. good job guys. Did Joel go to the school of badass /what a nice dood too? Great teacher man. I am gonna miss the dood when he is gone, that's a measure of a good teacher.

Cool stuff Joel. I’ve been playing very similar variations of these licks for many years. People always compliment my blues riffs, simply because I do what you’re doing to keep it interesting and not old worn out pentatonic stuff. I am very honored to have spoken with Joel in person on quite a few occasions. Super nice guy! And a hell of a guitar player. He should be on a G3 tour soon. As good as any who have had the honor.

Great next-level instructions from the nicest lead guitarist on social media! He has Trans-Siberian, Whitesnake, Cher where he is the lead, and he is kind enough to take the time and answer questions and such.

Joel Hoekstra's lessons are the most useful for me, i know scales but i cannot put them in right order to hear the chord changes. This lesson and of course the tabs that you can find in guitar worlds site help me a lot, thanks for that!!

Just saw Joel live for the first time last night with Whitesnake. He's probably the coolest guitar player 'Snake has had since John Sykes. He nailed all the old Sykes stuff.

Hi Joel..!! I stumbled on this lesson luckily, and I think these 7th arpeggios have got me out of the pentatonic boxes faster than anything..,and not all that difficult to learn..
I like JB a lot, I hear some elements in this solo, notes that are familiar and those that really grab you, I'm rededicated to arpeggios..so important to learn! Thx !!

If you were a painter, would you be copying other artists paintings? Or would you create your own? I fail to understand how creativity has diminished in music by copying instead of creating.
