- Rise Against - Heaven Knows. From the album "Revolutions Per Minute". With a solidified lineup and a developed sound, Rise Against deliver top-notch punk, screamo, and melodic hardcore on this follow-up LP. Sophomore slumps be damned, this record proves Rise Against are the real deal.

Revolutions Per Minute it's still an amazing album almost 20 years later.
Damn. I remember celebrating its 10th anniversary sharing this video on Facebook. We're all getting ancient boys.
The album just turned 20 back on the 8th of April. Still good after all these years.
Heck yes!! They got guitar playing skills and drum playing skills and computer hacking skills.
Well that made me feel old... Putting my smile away and back to my day.
Just bought the anniversary edition on Bandcamp last week and cant stop listening to it.
Kick ass record from beginning to the end..
Punk Rock Jesus is my favorite Tim incarnation. So glad this video is back up
I had no fucking idea that Rise Against's song Heaven Knows had an official video, I literally found out today
me too. I've been looking to bomb and headphone before I found this now :D
Youre not alone, friend
It was here a long time ago and then it was taken down for some reason. Didn’t realize til now that’s it’s up again! I’ve found it ❤
This song will always have a special place inside my heart.
When you can listen to music knowing who it is,
that’s success.
Not money, not Grammys,
Recognition. Appreciation.
Their sound has power & covers a lot of genre grounds
Wish they did 20 yr tours for their first 4 albums. This one is amazing. And the unraveling is so under appreciated
How is their sound just so much better than everyone else...? The only other band with the same talent in a similar genre, in my opinion, is Strung Out. That’s it! It’s a duopoly of mellifluous art.
Well you should look at punknews' review of RPM when it first came out
"Hardcore without metal.
Punk without pop.
Emotion without the friggin' whining.
While the band is clearly coming from a hardcore and punk background, it genuinely doesn't sound like anything I've heard. Many people have tried to blend punk and hardcore like this, but mostly we end up with the weakest bits of hardcore, and the weakest bits of punk, kind of mashed together. Instead, on "Revolutions..." we get an impressive sense of melody with a really visceral hardcore edge."
Rise Against’s RPM and Strung Out’s Exile in Oblivion were two very important albums to me throughout my late teen years. I still love them both. 🤘🏻
