i saw him play in person for the first time against asu this year and ive told so many people that he was spectacular. I went to the game alone - sat alone - and was in disbelief. the way he holds his teammates accountable but also tells them where he needs them to be, and then his ability to extend plays and put in raw effort was incredible. I was front row, right next to the endzone when he pulled the ball on the option read and gave it his all to get to the pylon for a diving touchdown. His interviews and off the field presence are the only question marks for me, but talent wise - he's definitely appearing to be special.
Right. He has the exact same skill set as Justin Fields. He can fling the ball 50+ air yards & hit receivers in stride, on the run at weird arm angles, scramble dead plays back to life & while I've not yet seen Caleb thread as many passes through tight windows to nail covered receivers in the end zone yet, that doesn't mean he can't. So he's in the same tier as Fields in everything we have seen. Should be fine.
So excited as a bears fan especially cuz we surrounded him with 3 good WRs, have two solid TEs and a solid run game. O line is shaky but he is used to playing with bad o line in college. We will see how he pans out in the NFL. I believe that he will do great for us and only time will tell. Awesome vid earner another sub
Gonna be tough for him to be bad with DJ Moore, Keenan Allen, Kmet, Swift and now Rome. The guy has fantastic weapons, if their offensive line is even league average Caleb should be at least a top 15 QB this year. Anything worse than that and they might have made a mistake not trading the pick.
