Hi Bryan, cool videos! You and I make similar ones haha about Georgia Tech's classes I am also a Microsoft engineer, do you work in the Atlanta office? Hopefully we run into each other! Take care!
@@bryan_truong Nice haha yeah I used to work in the Redmond office before Covid, but now work remote. Good times, we'll just have to catch up here then! haha
Hello! I am an incoming freshmen at unc chapel hill with an intended information science major. I was just wondering what the second year declaring major process is like for information science. I understand that UNC has had previous complications with their computer science department, leaving students to compete to even get the major. Does information science have that issue?
Hi- yes, you do have to apply for the information science major and minor. But it is far less competitive than CS (at least when I was applying). Generally speaking, when I was a student, it was basically set up so that if you take some INLS classes, do well in them, and complete the application, you are pretty much guaranteed to be accepted into the school of information library science. It could be harder now to get into the SILS, now, though, but I assume it's still easier than CS
