You are doing a "fantastic job", really good and you take step by step process to complete it. Keep it up. I did several times of updates on my 2019 Odyssey, but I don't do it often, sometimes you just don't remember. Your steps helps a lot. Thank you.
Thank you...coming from last update i did in 2019...anticipating garmin fixed previous issues with last one....im here in cali and when i use my stock android map navigation on my phone...it always finds me a better and faster route...so i always left my oddy navigation to a last option...great vids as always..

I have a '20 Honda Accord Touring 2.0T and the map that was installed on the vehicle was the 2017 version!! Being a '20 model, I would have expected it to be a newer map version. Shame on Honda for not having a newer version installed from the factory. It should have at least been the '19 version. Anyway, I'm about to install the '21 version. Thanks for the great video!
Installation completed. No hiccups. The longest part was getting the update from the computer onto my USB drive. Took over 2 hours. The installation in the car took approximately 30 minutes.
Excellent video, and the one I used after watching several Garmin Honda Map updates. Line upon line, precept upon precept. Easy to follow good instructions. "Left, Left, Left, Right, Left!" OOHRAH!!
You always get us the best features that are free, or easy to do. I am sad that this is actually not for the Pathfinder 😞 i know they charge for an update, and i think they should do what Honda did let us have free updates for the first 5 years. I own 2019 pathfinder, and it definitely needs an navigation update. Regardless that this is not for the Pathfinder you did an awesome job. All the Honda owners should br thankful for your hard work

This is a great video and helped me immensely with updating my Nav system in my 2018 Honda Accord. Somehow I missed the part of the instructions that said you had to plug the flash drive into the car so that Garmin Express would recognize it. Keep up the great videos and again thanks for a very well done video.😊

Excellent video and easy to follow. The last time I did the map update I lost all of my saved addresses. Is there a way to backup and restore the saved addresses? Thanks!

Thanks for making this video. Great guide. My usb flash drive wasn’t read when following the I initial steps. I had to turn on the ‘19 Pilot first before plugging tbe 16gb USB flash drive. I’m not sure either if using a MAC influenced the formatting of the drive and the download.
I bought a SanDisk Ultra Flair 16 GB. After putting the flash drive in the usb port, I got the message "The information for your navigation system could not be written to the external media. Please confirm that the media is connected and properly functioning." --> This is after I formatted the memory card and rebooted the system. I still got the same message.

Yes I wish Nissan also offer free map update. My Pathfinder map is 2017. Lots of new roads and addresses not in the system. Oh well.

FWIW either I got lucky or Garmin has improved. It only took 40 minutes to download on the computer and 20 to upload to my 2017 Ridgeline.

Honda Garmin free maps is for 5 years. Afterwards you have to pay. They have recently changed it so 2021+ cars only get 3 years free map update.

I’ve got a 2021 Odyssey and it took about 10-15 minutes… hope that helps.

When the map update was completed on the car, I noticed that you removed the usb without turning off the car? Is this ok?
Yes that is fine since the update was finished and also the instruction tell you to remove the USB drive.
