I am a regular traveler in this route. Mostly by my car. From Ranipettai to Bangalore is wonderful. Kanchipuram to Chennai road is not very good. My best was around 4.5 hours till now.

Awesome highway with 3 lanes in each direction. Beats the U.S. that has 3 lanes for about 7 miles out of each city and then becomes a two lane high way in each direction.

The fish eye effect is irritating ! Pls do adjust the camera zoom. (reduce the wide angle). just my suggestion, curved dividers, pillars etc... spoil the viewing experience.
