- In this video I show how to upgrade and connect your MrRack with the 3in1 expansion from DXP. It's a quick process and you gain a lot. You get exp boards 1, 3 and 4 and they all sound great with drums, transwave pads and leads, pianos. You also get a fair amount of patches.
The song here is recorded with sound straight out of the box, no add on FX or EQ. And remember it's only a sound demo, nothing else :D

Anyone tried this on a KT-76 or KT-88?
I have a KT-88. It's so heavy it has it's own moon orbeting

I would like to buy one for my ASR X
Too bad that these are sold out. The MR Rack would be perfect for my 1990s 19 inch rack, also because an MR Rack with the Exp-3 board is supposedly like having a Fizmo in a 1U rack space, but without the crazy prices. Although even the MR Racks are few and far between. It's not like an FS1R which you can find everywhere (for equally insane asking prices).
He makes them in smal quantities from time to time. So you just got to hang on to the site and wait for it to happen.

Perfect job. Are the sounds and waveforms the same as in the original board from Ensoniq Dance and World? Or are these new waves? Is there a sound list? I understand correctly that the installation of an additional flash is no longer possible. Do you also have a card for your own samples?
The card contains the expansion from the original cards 1, 3 and 4. It uses all slots so you expand it with anything more. There is not anyway, to what I know, to load samples into the MR series.
@@No_Nag Afaik there is indeed a flash rom option to load your own samples in the MR keyboards. NOT in the rack rhough.

@@No_Nag Some people say he has a spam filter that rejects emails that have '?' in the subject. That being said, there are rumours on Gearspace that he has closed the business. I have ordered an EXP-3 Urban board with the extra transwaves, as It doesn't look like this guy will reappear.

Is EXP-1/2/3 for MR-61 still available?
I don't know. You have to check with the Guy who makes them.

@@No_Nag Aight thx. I know those machine take the same cards, mine has the EXP-3 installed. The MR can take multiple at once if I'm not mistaken, so Im not sure if this will work for the ASR-X. Would be cool though!

too much expensive~~ proper price is under 50$. I think it is illegal.

If you took two seconds to think about it.
If you try to by one card from eBay/Reverb thats over 150$ each, at least. Here you get all 3 cards for the same amount as one.
If you think that's to much, it's not expensive. It's simply that you can't affird it.
It is a good price.
