The story of this drama is litterally worst,no plot,no proper character buildup,Even we see the school bullies gets no punnisment for their deeds,just disgusting
bullies getting no punshiment is probably how it is in south korea. Like the bullies get away with it like in the stories that the drama The Glory is based on. This drama had the potential to be something great, the trash writers of the show just made it awful
the pacing was so bad, we get a moment of calmness but then the thrill is so late. I didn’t feel the thrill in every episodes properly, it felt like it was out
It's disgusting but it's realistic so i think it was okay. Although it's unfair but that's the reason they bullied coz nothing will happen to them. Sk chaebols world is like this only. Only exception is Kang ha surviving coz in reality for sure they wouldn't have spared him coz he reported all those bullies. Like do you really believe two biggest conglomerates of country, presidential election candidate and many other people would have spared Kang ha?

This show was not good.. I’m glad it stopped at 7 episodes. Should not get a season 2. It had so much potential when they first teased it but it went down hill with every episode.

Also taeho faced same beatings .after all they've gone these rich kids got light punishment. What a silly characterization. Even though all these look so hot acted well especially I liked rian acting but only teacher who killed got punishment not the kids much.

Yeah honestly I stopped watching when Jaeyi asked Kang Ha to help her protect Rian. I already knew what direction the story was going and said fuck no. Wasted a few hrs of my life that I cant get back but didnt finish season 1 so onto the next. I was looking up things abt it to see if my hunch on the direction of the show was right and…TADAAA it was lmao.

nah if im being honest I heard k netz say bullying isnt even a big issue at school but they just keep making bullying scenes in dramas

I think Revenge of Others has better plot 'coz the MC focuses on finding out who killed her brother. Though the ending was a bit off too.
Don't waste your time watching this garbage. The plot, which starts as a revenge story, devolves into a love triangle focused on a rich girl's problems. The main storyline about seeking revenge and uncovering the brother's killer is abandoned, and the protagonist becomes irrelevant. Instead of taking action, he turns into a knight in shining armor for the girl. It's his classmates who carry out all the revenge; he does nothing but flirt.
That's what I thought too. No revenge but just them saying sorry. Sorry didn't bring his brother back. It was more about the main girl all depressed about not being able to fall in love with her boyfriend. Love the cast just not my typical revenge drama.
I hate fl somuch for her selfish desires to protect her baby's father rian😂 though she supports kang ha in the end but she keeps away scholar kids easily but supports rian even he did bullying indirectly what a bitchy fl is. No one really has that guilty for his brother. Woojin too at fault.

I in this whole series didn't understood jae yi's thoughts. Ok let's say others bullied kang in han but who is jeong jae yi? The school queen and jaeyul group daughter, She can say one word and they would have stopped bullying him.
What kind of fl will pass on even after seeing bullying infront of her knowing it's because if her friendship with inha .she should've supported even if she didn't love atleast for the support he offered during her toughest time. Even knowing rian having grudges on in ha and bullying she kept silent and still asks for help from victim brother shamelessly and on top adding one more request to forgive rian😅😅 whether to forgive or not victims family will decide who's she to order what an arrogant fl ive never seen in my entire kdrama life

Hierarchy was kinda fast forwarded and didn’t have flare 😅 😂really the only flare were Kang Ha being kinda giving psychopath-ish when he was revealed to be taking revenge 🫠but it kinda flopped cuz they didn’t show any earth shattering hidden card 😂 so the real shit is the mystery behind the ending where Kang Ha walks through the halls like he had something to do with Jae-i’s brother’s death (but I don’t think so) but he looked so badass and like he’s just getting started with his plans and plans to target the adults in the next season… but eh.. we’ll see if season 2 saves the reputation of season 1
Hierarchy was still a good idea tho.. no problem with the acting.. 😂it’s just the pace of the story and the writing of the plot is kinda off (feels like they could’ve done a tad bit more to Kang Ha’s depth.. idk)

They tried so hard to make me sympathise/empathise with the bullies with their backstories and whatnot but it didn't even work.
This Kdrama didn't have a good ending in my opinion. All that bullying and tormenting towards students JUST for them to get no consequences and to still be let in the school? The serious offences didn't get anyone arrested!!
To have a inappropriate relations with a student, to bully the scholarship students, and to even let the murder of a student slide?
Even if near the ending they all apologised for doing the things they did, it never negates the fact that it hurt people. It hurt families even. Where were the parents involved in this?

It was truly mind-boggling how the show expected us to empathize with Rian. And when we has like "You poor people have no idea what true societal pressure is like", it was RIDICULOUS. Trust me bro, poor people do know the pressure to succeed. Rian is a jerk and the way Jae-I clings to him makes her all the more unlikeable. The scenes between the two of them were insufferable.
Kang Ha has his cool moments but the way he is just immediately willing to do anything for Jae I is insane. She's not even particularly nice to him for christ's sake. Just because she's hot and distant, I guess. She is even partially repsonsible for his brother's death and yet he acts like her knight and hero. It was cringe. The show solely relies on Jae Is prettiness to make her a likeable character.
The way Jae I kept making herself the victim when talking about In Hans death... "It was all my fault". Like girl stop playing the victim, Kang Ha is the one who lost his brother yet you're the one begging for consolation are you serious 😂

I understand that Jai is repressed because of her father's abuse but the actress was unable to express any emotions at all. I've seen better acting from a cartoon chicken.
Still a far cry from itaewon class or glory...the story plot is shallow and characters dont have anything special like the MC acts all tough and all but doesnt have anything to contribute to the story. I mean you plan to take revenge to the top class students of korea and you dont have anything spectacular to show. There was an episode the outstanding KANG's so i was like oh shit they will show the brothers skill set but i waited and still nothing!! Its a so so series that will be forgotten easily nothing in the show will make you remember the characters unlike with the itaewon class were even the supporting case are amazing and has something to offer.

In the end drama reaches where it started. No bullies learnt anything good from getting caught and they are left off coz they are young and have rich parents...
