- This simple and easy-to-make slow cook pot roast is our family’s favorite! Additionally, it has been a challenging few months as my Mom has been in and out of hospitals. We will share a sad update on her health at the end of this video.
We'll also talk about some of the things we did to get through this difficult winter season in our lives. Hopefully, our experiences will help you when you face your own winter season.

When I was taking care of both my parents by myself, the most valuable piece of information I received was: God will give you the strength you need, when you need it. So true. I've been working with the elderly in exercise, companionship and caregiving since 2008. I love your mother so much. She is a highly valuable woman, look who she was appointed to give birth to. Know that He is Jehovah Rapha, the Lord is our Healer.

As someone who lost my mum to cervical cancer in 2021, I feel your pain. It's a sad situation but we know they will go to a better place with no more pain from this horrible disease.

Thank you for this video. I am ashamed to say that my husband and I were complaining earlier today that we had to spend day off from work doing chores at his Mom's house. She is the only parent we have left. After your sweet words and spirit concerning your dear Mom I am reminded that time is short and we need to be patient and thankful for the time we have left with her. From your old stomping grounds of Newport News, Va. Love and prayers. I know just where your at. My wife and I took care of our mothers at the end of their earthly journeys and going to their heavenly home within months of each other. We were so blessed to share that last year with them. Heaven is our home and they are keeping those home fires burning for when it is our time to join them.
I took care of my mom grandma and sister during their end of life battle and it's hard you ..may God bless you and keep you during this time

You're all in our prayers. We took care of my mom and also there were many hospital stays in her last years while she lived with us. It is challenging but God lifted us throughout.
