      Nah don’t wear a helmet you’ll be chillen. Mtb shoes who needs em, crocs are enough

      make it your priority to save up but remember you will need to maintain your bike and yes you need protective gear. you need money

      If you're riding downhill like this, you'll need all the protective gear, especially a full face downhill rated helmet. If you're riding more cross country with less jumps, you may get away with less, but as a beginner, you'd do well to wear all you can reasonably stand; you are going to fall at some point, most likely. You can shop around for gear, too.

      @@Happy_Biker when my buddy came with me he insisted on not wearing shin pans and he ended up in the hospital with a gash across his knee that looked crazy you could almost see his knee cap so wear pads for this
