i dont have time to play starcraft two i average like 4 - 5 games a year i still hold diamond and lose to diamonds throughout the year but always play this in the background when i get a chance

Fun fact, before them. The only SC player who could play multiple races well was Flash in SC BW. Flash was just so so good.
I paused the video to come mention Flash in Brood War, man is a legend.
I remember TLO (The Little One) who used to play random early on in SC2. TLO played Random throughout most of beta, then switched to Terran for early release. Later he switched to Zerg for a very brief amount of time, before switching back to random, then Terran again.

Hi Winter, I am a returning player. I am old and played all the Blizzard games since the first warcraft games, and my friends and I were big into the original Starcraft, but I have played all the Blizzard titles except for the very first one.
Anyways I have been loving your casts. One thing that I can tell you as a returning fan/player is that I would really appreciate a breakdown of the relevance of the tournament matches, as you and Harstem and uThermal are the only real starcraft I follow. As such, I am not really sure of the relevance of each tournament, and where in the tournament some of these matches take place. It would be cool if you could tie together some of the movement through these tournaments for new players. I really appreciate the stand alone nature of each cast, but as a new viewer to SC2 casts I am pretty lost in terms of understanding the tournament landscape. Sorry about the wall of text.
TLDR; could you maybe add a sentence or two to tournament videos tying them together and maybve following the progress of the tournaments?

@@nmgaro2156 yeah it's absurd. They should deal friendly fire (like every other races big AoE damage dealers) and then zergs might need to actually need a brain to use them
@@Wizuhd Lurkers "doing friendly fire" is the most laughable balance suggestion of all time. Do you even play this game? Look at aligulac and tournament level PvZ is over 55%... that's 5% in Protoss favor. If that continues for several more months its not likely that Protoss will be nerfed (because of PvT), but Zerg will definitely be buffed in a way that helps them against Protoss - and rightly so.
Ladder Protoss just have absolutely no idea... they are so ignorant of the tournament scene... and too lazy to learn a build order and cruise to Masters lol.
The commentary about too many overlords on your enemies front lawn was amazing! One for vision makes sense, the others are just loitering, which is punishable by death

It almost felt like Reynor saying ZvZ isnt a challenge for me against you two.
Reynor became his worst nightmare to vanquish is worst nightmare and it was worth it.
One of the games i still remember to this day, was a ZVZ (i main z)
We and the other player just kept pushing ling/banes out like crazy, micro was everywhere, the battle was fierce
I won by a thread that one, still remember it to this day.

it might be kinda interesting to see the top player in each race do a 1v1v1, I don't know if it would go really well or if 2 of them would just gang up on one then fight it out with each other but if they don't do that it could be a lot of fun to see.

Starcraft II "Just a spectator" level question here but:
What happens if in a ZvZ like the final game where both Zergs have mass roach ravager if one of the Zergs (presumably the one with the slight lead) were to tech directly to Mutalisks and grab say 6-8 of them? I assume they don't do that much damage to the actual roaches, but is there an "obvious" reason that they wouldn't shred the mineral lines and pick off stragglers with impunity to push the game over the edge at the 10-12 minute window?

Speaking of playing different races, we have seen off race pro tournaments, but never a random race pro tournament.
That would be entertaining, even if it would be frustrating for the pros.
Or maybe a tournament with random.off races only to make sure they dont get their main race.

One thing I've always thought that protoss has been missing is a sieged long range unit. Terran has tanks and zerg has lurkers.
Terran has tanks AND liberators that siege. Zerg has lurkers AND vipers that (kind of reverse) siege. Maybe they consider the colossus and disruptors as siege units?
I've been really enjoying the multi-series videos when the matches are shorter! Just more great games for the fans, what's not to like?

Reynor went on and beat Dark using Zerg. So yeah, Reynor beat all 3 of Korean best Zerg player.
Idk how marines would help in the first game, but i def felt protoss not having them (obviously coz it's a terran unit, but lately i've seen and played TvZ specifically). Terran units are just so terran units.

why wouldnt he play protoss? ur saying someone chooses to play a race that got buffed against a race that got nerfed??? a march up that many ppl agree that protoss has the advantage if it goes to the late game unless ur playing against serral!?!?!? u dont say. especially after we saw dark get eliminated in a zvz soo quickly u couldnt even go to the bathroom and back.

Raynor is a 7k+ player, a former world champion and a consistent top3 finisher in almost every major tournament. Him not winning a major tournament as a protoss is a testament to the relative weakness of the race compared to the other two.
He’s just worse at his offrace this is a galacticly bad take lmao
Your case will have some validity the day some Protoss player off-races as either Terran or Zerg and wins a tournament.
Until then, it's far more reasonable to conclude that Reynor is not quite at his best with his off-race.
That's both whacky logic and a complete lie. herO has finished higher than Reynor in every tournament this year. He off-raced as Terran & got completely destroyed against MaxPax, a Protoss who has finished lower than him in the Premieres this year.
