- Wandering Wagners RV Life: We finally have the information for the 3rd Annual Campout for 2021, and we review the Waggle RV Pet Monitor.

We have an entire section of the campground blocked off for our group to reserve sites and come camp with us! If you haven't been here before or haven't watched our videos from past campouts there, you should know that the campsites are SMALL and meant for a group, so you will get to know your neighbors, but once everyone is settled in, everyone has a great time! We have an area for our communal campfires and pot luck that we usually hold every year as well. This is where you want to be to meet your next new camping best friends! 😊
The Waggle RV Pet Monitor was a pretty good product that we found to be quite helpful in knowing and keeping track of the conditions inside the RV while we are away. Whether that be for 5 minutes or an hour plus. Be sure to place the unit in an area of the RV that isn't subject to outside heat like a window or a light that produces heat as that can alter the monitors temperature sensors and send unwarranted alerts.
We have to set up to alert us for Heat high/low, RV power loss, battery power low, loss of network (because it runs off of Verizon network). You can add up to 5 email addresses and 5 phone numbers and it will send an alert to all devices once one of your set parameters are hit. We tested this out and we always received an alert as we had set up in our settings!

We were there a few years back in the Airstream and didn't have the best time. I think we would go back in the off season though.

There is all new management now.
The competitive shoot events are all booked as usual.
And with the new rifle and pistol ranges available it's like camp perry at times.

I believe we were there when it was the new management. There were great but the other patrons/campers were awful and kept walking through our site, and they had a kids party and it was pure chaos and super loud. No chance at enjoying the amenities so it was just a turn off for us.

Alum Creek is always our first camp of the season. We store our camper nearby and this makes a great place to de-winterize and bleach the tanks. It's also close enough to home that we can run home to pick up anything we missed on that first trip.

I loved watching Piper figure out the ball on the crate, especially when she tried to intimidate it by barking.
Piper loved that puzzle! She figured it out and was so happy! Although Guy was the one who barked, not Piper LOL Guy is way more vocal

Do both models of the waggle have that feature?
I ordered a device and subscription combo when it was on sale. They said it was a mistake on their end and that I need to buy the subscription again in order to use the unit. I will not be doing business with them ever again.
That's weird... They should honor the discount you received. Something seems off! Did they refund it and ask you to repurchase or what? I would almost try to contact them (because it seems weird that would happen, almost like someone tried to scam) I hope not but you never know. We still have our device and it just renewed for a third time without issue here.
I ordered my device on Easter weekend. It was half off on the Shop app and had a year subscription combo. They said it was a mistake on their end and did the price did not include the subscription charge.
They offered me a one month free service. I said I just want what I paid for.

Last year we were camping next to a couple in a buddy site who had a little dog. They told us about there pet monitor which I ordered when I got home, it was called a nimble. We used it after that trip and on our first trip. Between last year and this year they renamed it waggle. I have been happy with it so far, I got the 1 year sub on a good discount in March. I have mine secured on the wall by the main entry door near an outlet.

It’s a pretty cool idea (the Waggle) but they’ve excluded a lot of potential buyers by using only Verizon. I wonder why they don’t make it available for all carriers.

You don't have to have Verizon to have Waggle. Mike has AT&T and I have TMobile. It just uses Verizon. It uses a Sim card so they probably just picked Verizon because it seems to be most popular. But I'm not sure why they went that route.
The dogs had a great time and I thought it was funny when the dogs were meeting our new friends and Guy was getting pets as usual and Piper stood up on her hind legs when I said she's crazy and from the streets😂 she sure loved the ball on top of the crate puzzle though!

Does it alert for barking and yapping dogs left behind?
It doesn't but if we have WiFi we can use our wyze camera for motion and noise which we've done in the past. As long as Piper is in her crate she's good. Guy doesn't usually bark until we return back and he's excited

Notice you use leveling blocks. No auto leveling on the rig?
Yes we have auto hydraulic leveling. We don't like the tires to be off the ground so we added blocks and lowered the front down onto them.
Dang I just activated and mounted our the last part of March. I feel safer leaving "Freddie" in the RV. A small price to pay for some insurance and was happy with the inter action with the company.
Yeah it'll be nice for the Summer heat and Winter cold for us!

how do you feel about the waggle after using it for awhile? mines reading up to 5° higher than the actual temp.
Ours still works great and reads the actual temperature. Been great when we leave the dogs inside

My wife and I tried to use your code to activate the device we bought but hadn’t activated before you posted this video. Are we able to use your code without also purchasing a device?
