    A couple comments. I did the same instillation. Remove the entire armrest through the air vent in the back. Then when you remove the staples, do not use staples again. Use gorilla mounting tape and don’t be afraid to cut some of the leather to make it fit better. Mine turned out perfect.

      That would’ve been smart. If I ever need to change it again I’m definitely going to do that

      Can you expand how you used gorilla mounting tape?

    If I saw this clip earlier that could help me to unscrew those 2 last screws at lowest part easier. I didn't have a heavy duty staples, so just used double side sticker, it worked strong too. I did it and completed the job, it looks a lot better than before bearing a big crack on that armrest looked awful. Thanks Jonathan to see this clip very helpful. Hope can view more your others interesting fixing clips. All the best to you 👍👍👍 👍👍

    Good video, thank you for the tips especially the two back screws. To get better result apply the new ebay cover over the cracked oem cover….this will ensure more padding and firm fit. Aliexpress have these for like $10. 👍🏻

    Pro tip, use glue instead of staples.

    • @Jonathan.Nguyen

      I tried the glue first and it didn’t work I may just end up buying the whole
      Piece if it happens again 🤣

      @@Jonathan.Nguyen there's a special transparent glue for leather but what I did was m3 tape and glue on the paper. I sand the piece down tho so It has a good surface to grip on. Stretch and heat gun after, cut the corners so you have a more flawless look. I'll make a video when I do it on my car. 💯

    My armrest doesn't close like it used to and i don't see an option to adjust it. Anyone have same issue after disassembling armrest?

    • @Jonathan.Nguyen
      @Jonathan.Nguyen  Před 2 lety

      Odd. I never had that issue. Hope you can figure it out because I’m not sure what could cause it

    awesome vid as always!, question, i currently have a tsudo catback and while its an upgrade from stock i wanted something a little louder but not hella loud. im thinking ppe headers but but is $& and hella raspy, what do you think? do you think deleting my mufflers would be hella loud too?

    • @Jonathan.Nguyen
      @Jonathan.Nguyen  Před 3 lety +1

      Deleting the mufflers would be loud but it’s personally preference. I was in the same boat as you. I wanted something louder than my catback. Do you have me on IG? You could try changing your axleback to invidia. I have a video of someone running a tsudeo midpipe and invidia axleback. Dm on IG so I can send it to you. If you have anyone near your area to test fit a remark, bolt on midpipe, that’s also an option! I luckily had a friend who had a remark axleback. For me it was out of control loud but I have headers. I currrnly have invidia axleback from an RC. I am still working on that video. Just need to get rev clips but been busy. You will see it soon! Also, thank you so much for watching and commenting. I’m glad I can help if I can!

      @@Jonathan.Nguyen The arm rests made of black leather are scorching and dont fare well with human contact. I put a nice tshirt or rag to cover them.

      Well. But there is dedicated staples for leather which I didn’t use so maybe it would be better

    How am I just seeing this? I got mine carbon fibered due to a gash on it. I don’t recommend it cause there’s no cushion for your elbows haha just for aesthetics. Oh how I miss the leather

    • @Jonathan.Nguyen
      @Jonathan.Nguyen  Před 3 lety +1

    • @Jonathan.Nguyen

      @@pew_rinse_repeat that I’m not sure. You can try to DIY it and get a carbon fiber fabric but that’s all I can think of
