This beginners art lesson will teach you the basics of drawing Superstar Singer and Performer Billie’s portrait, which looks very complex with flat light and a lot of detail, but simplified using beginners graphite pencil drawing techniques.
You can see in real time and fully narrated how using the simple shapes techniques and a basic guide line grid you can draw a portrait of anyone.
This art tutorial takes you from a blank piece of paper with a 2b, 4b and 8b pencil to a full drawing of Billie Eilish in real time in three hours.

Do you need the grid to draw Billie Eilish?
Edit:Or are there simple markings I can put on the page instead. I don't have a grid.
The grid helps. You can just draw the portrait is you want strait but the grid just helps when you are beginning.
I draw the grid on myself so you can do it too. Just use a pencil and ruler. Here is a video that shows you how to draw down the grid.

Hey Billy! Just watched some of your videos lately, just gonna ask which/what brand/type of pencils and papers you are using? Just getting myself to start drawing during this quarratine. Love your videos! ❤️ very beginner friendly and easy to follow.
Just normal A4 cartridge paper and I have used Faber Castell and Staedtler pencils for years. Also used other makes too. Just good drawing pencils will be fine.

Thanks for the suggestion Mayukh - Katy and many others are on the possible 'to do' list. I do these lessons for fun around my main work (which is art) so I am not able to fit in everyone's requests (which are all lovely) as I just don't have the time.
If my Channel 'took off' I could do more lessons more frequently. So if you and your friends can make my current lessons 'go viral' I could possibly get to do more lessons, and therefore more subjects, quicker 👍😊
