Hey Hugh great video, just wondering how much recording time do you get on the 512gb for 8k video? I have a 512gb and was wondering if to get the 1TB. thanks
On my Z8 at 8.3K60 RAW, the camera states 20 minutes when a 1TB card is inserted. I tested an Exascend Essential 1TB card and the camera recorded a little over 20 minutes, before overheating and shutting down. My old Angelbird AV Pro card would only record up to 8.3K24 RAW, it came apart in the camera and I sent it in for replacement (don’t forget to register the card for warranty), Angelbird sent me the AV Pro SE and I tested briefly at 8.3K60 and let it record for a minute. I plan on doing a new test with it and the Exascend to post on my channel.
which card memory 1TB is best for Sony ZV-E10 ?
Anyone having issues with card not initilizing in body? Trying to figure out issue now
You commented a bit about the great card reader but don’t provide a name. What is the brand of the CFexpress card reader please?
I thought it was fairly obvious that it was also from Angelbird. Have a look on their website.
Are they better than LEXAR?
I am so confused about the price difference with these cards.
I have that 512gb av pro se. When I run the firmware card reader app and plug into my laptop I get 'card not supported'. But it shows a little picture of the card and avx2.15. Anyone else experience this? I just got the card and otherwise works fine.
That's because your card is up2date and no newer update is available.
We are working on an update of the application which does indicate a more clear message.
Cheers and stay tuned!
@@romanrabitsch348 I see. That was my guess as it's working perfectly. I used it some more over the weekend recording 8k raw, 4k, and some 120 fps. Thanks for responding.
@@romanrabitsch348 why is the read speed on the 512 SE cards slower than read speed? Advertised read is 1750mb/s , but real read is 600-700mb/s , write is good at 800mb/s
Do you have any problems with the se at 4k 120
I’ve not shot that much in 4K 120, mostly 60fps but 8k 60, 4K 120 and s16 raw 120 has been completely flawless on all 3 cards for the last 5 months.
@@HuFilms ok I most likely have a faulty card. It only read and writes at 400 mb/s. It’s so frustrating because they want me to send the card to Austria before they give me a replacement.
Same with me Tried shooting 4k at 60 on Nikon z8,Z9 and Canon r5 and on 3 camera's got dropped frames, so retuning the SE ones as guess the lot that were produced arly last tear 2022..had issues...hopefull I get a new ones that works well@@GCHUSTLEHAWAII
@@GCHUSTLEHAWAIIYou probably already sent it in for replacement however, for anyone else worried about out it, it’s not a big deal. Once I sent them a photo of the damaged card, they sent me prepaid shipping labels, I boxed it up and dropped it off the following day. The whole process was about 2 weeks, took a little longer due to Thai customs and UPS needing a local phone (which was not mentioned on UPS site) number for delivery, other wise it would be 10 days. Happy they were willing to send where I was in Thailand and not just back to US where it was purchased.
Grabbed for 130 usd
i don´t recomand it , verry low quality bild
Do they not ship to the UK anymore? I’ve always bought Angelbird for my primary cards and on the order page there’s no UK option anymore!
