My elderly mother and I, both OU grads, live in Asia where it's very difficult to get the games (VPNs, awful live streams, expensive packages...) not to mention that they're in the middle of the night. Thanks to you, we wake up with bacon, eggs and coffee, don our crimson and cream and watch OU football on a Sunday morning. 🙏

They’re not all gonna be pretty. Love the fight in this Sooners team. Coulda been easy to just give up in the 4th. But they fought back and won a tough game. Proud of this team, even if there is a LOT to get better at.

I feel like we definitely lose this game last year. It wasn’t pretty at all but 7-0! I think we realized how much of a difference maker Andrell Anthony was.
Echoes of the last National championship season OU had.. Some dominant games, some close wins.. sweet defensive touchdows...all capped w a very sweet season championship win..

If only, in a "What If" world. This felt like the birth of a new rivalry game. OU has their old QB Dillon Gabriel, i remember watching Dillon shred it up at UCF on TV and leard what dime time meant. and it made me start following UCF! and also Coach Lebby, I've heard that UCF fans wanted Lebby to become the new Head coach at a point in time. Idk of thats true or not, but...
So if I was a UCF fan, i would feel robbed by a bigger brand, and i would do anything and everything possible to beat that brand just to prove and say "hey we're still here and we're coming! And we breed greatness"
That is exactly the energy i felt from UCF, I thought my Sooners were about to lose this game!

Looking across college football almost every top tier team struggled, it’s natural in college football to after coming off a major win. We had many self inflicted mistakes easily could’ve won this game by 3+ scores, on to the next!

Yes. I agree. My brother thought it was local announcers for local games; but, not sure that is the case. I think the announcers like to hitch their wagons to the "in" team. As if that increases their stature (ha) or they are just catering to the franchise that is keeping their 'bread buttered. I miss the old days when announcers would NOT talk non-stop! They would fill with crowd noise and cheerleaders yelling or just not talk intermittently for a moment or two. Apparently some white collar decided that one cannot have 30 seconds of silence on the part of the announcers. Not sure about the length of time causing the fear of dead air time; but, I would say it does not apply here, at least to the extent it has been taken. In a recent game, announcers mentioned Mahome's name and cameras focused on his face repeatedly even when there were no spectacular plays to give reason for it. They were gushing and sounded like rabid fans. It made me not want to hear that players name anymore. It is unfortunate they were making him off putting.
