Hello. Thank you for your video. I’ve been out of school since 1997. I am planning to take the NCLEX-RN this year. Which review materials would you recommend for my situation? Thank you in advance.
I passed on my first try with 85 questions. Best to do is to refresh your nursing knowledge. In my case, I finished the full lectures through simple nursing first, after that I started with archers along with the intensive short compact lectures of simple nursing. My thinking was, I needed to refresh my mind of the fundamentals and basic nursing knowledge as I believe you will answer and understand questions easier this way than just jumping to a lot of questions. I highly suggest archers too and please take time to finish your rationales, it'll be pointless to take hundreds if not thousand of questions without understanding it. Good luck!
@@LG-ow5vo some questions are specific and people may have never seen the content in school, but if you have good test taking skills and a good nursing foundation you will do well

You don’t have to get 85 questions correct, to pass the nclex you have to “answer enough questions correctly” to prove that you are a safe competent nurse, it’s not an exact number and not everyone gets the same questions nor do questions have the same level of difficulty. The test shuts off for people at question 85, which means the person answered enough correctly to say this is a safe nurse, it could shut off at 100 questions and you can still pass.

pdf ?
Hi , do i need to get 85 all correct straight away among all or overall 85 questions needs to be correct? Can you clarify it please?
You don’t have to get 85 questions correct, to pass the nclex you have to “answer enough questions correctly” to prove that you are a safe competent nurse, it’s not an exact number and not everyone gets the same questions nor do questions have the same level of difficulty. The test shuts off for people at question 85, which means the person answered enough correctly to say this is a safe nurse, it could shut off at 100 questions and you can still pass.
