- Turn your computer keyboard into a foot switch and control your music software while you play guitar.
On this particular keyboard, function keys are larger. So we used them instead
of normal keys. You can also double the height of the keys
by sticking two buttons, one on top of each other. - Jak na to + styl
This is brilliant. Was looking at expensive ways to control our dmx-lights by foot and I find this video. Just got 2 old keyboards for free from work (always good to have a backup just in case).
man!! you are so genius.. thank a lot
nice idea.......thanks
kurwa genialne :D:D rozjebało mi czache :D
great!!! but it works with guitar rig 5 without doing anything else?
Can this be used with the prime app?
Thank
Can I do the same thing but use it as a midi controller? (I want to avoid using my laptop keyboard) CheapCheap alternative to your AKAI's etc
your hack just gave me a great idea. i use power point for scrolling through my music when i play and i am using a mouse operated by my foot...but can't go backward now i can...thanks
Might wanna check out Novel Keys big switches :)
that's will make me pro player
Sooo how to assign??? To ampitube
i wanna find an actual decent robust peddle trigger tho
no where makes such profirals unless it's for flight sims
Sure they do. You can buy plastic ones for like $7 or high quality metal ones for like $30. You can get single ones, double ones, triple ones....Or you can just buy a USB keypad, rip out the guts, disconnect the membrane, and solder wires and a switch to replace the key of your choice
+Ash Scott good to know, tbh I really want some software overlay programs for fly graphic n sound triggers during live streams I can bind to keys or game pads n peddles
Dan Bayfield Like a sound board? I'm sure that's easy. I hear people using soundboards all the time in counterstrike to play samples. Not sure about GFX overlays though. But, anything you can bind to a key, you can bind to a footswitch just as easily. If you don't want to make one, just search USB footswitch on Ebay
Can I use this for transcription and if so how do I use it?
you'd want to keep the F keys you want to use and just remove everything else. Make sure your software can bind to the keys and that you can differentiate them with your feet. Pretty much it. I'd probably reverse the keyboard under my desk and transcribe in socks.
This guy only has 2 video why is he so popular 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😮
Huh😂
Because people love time lapse video ! LOL

I followed the advice of Brandon Lucero and his friend ;)
@@jacquesdurocher Which advise specifically? How did that help translate to growth? Thank you

So about the donky
How to assign it in the computer
Your music software should have some means to map keystroke functions.
If not, you have the wrong software! ;-)
This video shows how to use the "intercept" tool to assign keys to other keys on one keyboard (the one you're customizing here) without affecting your main unmolested keyboard: czcams.com/video/y3e_ri-vOIo/video.html
