@DigginSoCal I just found your channel. I am just getting back into Metal Detecting, due to health and situations I haven't been Detecting in about 5 years, but before giving up the hobby I was Detecting for about 15 years! I just bought a new Minelab X-terra Pro and ready to get back out there! I have had about 15 different Detectors, my favorite was my White's Spectra V3i but that thing was so heavy and due to my health I went a lighter route. I alsomhad (and loved) my XP Deus but figured since I'm just getting back into the hobby that I would start cheaper and I've heard great things about the x-terra pro. Are you guys Father & Daughter? So awesome seeing families out Detecting together, my Dad also detect and currently still has his Garrett ACE250 but next season when (if) I upgrade I will give him the X-Terra Pro I just bought and give his ACE250 to my cousin who is also thinking about getting into the hobby!

Hello guys!!! I love the vids!!! I had a question was wondering why you both don't wear go pro's simultaneously to film both your finds and combine them together in each video. I like the way you interact with each other but maybe you would have more finds in the end.. no criticism here just an idea... and also how do you both meet and come up with your channel...
The Go Pro's have a weird angle when you wear them as a body cam. We met at a different job and eventually came up with the channel.

Christine, I cringed when you placed that twisted metals 20:25 ring on your finger-the one that Bill found. Have you had a Tetanus vaccine lately? I am such a Mom! I worry about everyone. I only started metal detecting 2 years ago, but being a worrier, I went to my doctor and had a tetanus shot. This goes for Bill too! ♥️

Not really. They pick up the bigger pieces of trash as the beach comber doesn’t go very deep into the sand.

Hi, I just bought my first Detector (X-Terra Pro) and waiting on my Scoop Handle which was supposed to be delivered today. But Amazon had other plans and delayed it until Sunday. I was going to start my first ever Detecting this weekend but I'll be waiting until Monday now sadly.
My question, I am Beach scanning here in NE Florida. What are the optimal settings for sand and wet sand (with the occasional dip in 6 inches of surf)?
