If you watch the video when he was in the spaceship he was trying to get out of the straps and you see smoke where the bottom of his jacket caught fire that’s why half his jacket was burnt off I’m surprised a lot of people missed that
At risk of going full nerd mode, that kinda makes me think of tons of aviators from the past.
Specifically the WW2 pilots, white and black and everywhere inbetween.
