That pokeball is from the hidden Fates collector box. Didn't come with cards in it. It's actually a deck holder
It took forever for him to open that first box
There's a lot of little stuff this dude does that makes me lack respect for him. None of it is a problem by itself but added all up he starts to come off like the typical scummy "youtuber" shtick. From begging and manipulating viewers for engagement to dragging out the unblocking to meet a video time quota. It's super corny and a shame. the dude has the potential to actually be good.
The best rule of thumb is to speak to and treat the viewer as if they're an adult. Especially don't ask them to comment down below every 5 minutes with some stupid ass question.

It's just funny that both of the most expensive packs didn't have anything but regular rares almost like they were weighed and sold into a mystery box cuz they got more value out of it and the heavy packs are more expensive at least in future terms
mystery boxes should always have a higher value inside than what youve paid for but the thing is, usually you wouldnt have bought these things, in most cases, and its mostly just leftover stuff they have lying around their stores that nobodys gonna buy anytime soon..
Id rather spend that money on one thing I really want than on many things I dont even want and have to re-sell to get the money back for that lol

No, they shouldn't always, it entirely depends on who you're buying it from.The only reason companies like MJ can even make products that lose money like mystery boxes (and they don't even get that right) is because they make so much money on all the other pokemon shit they sell, that getting rid of this inventory actually saves them money on storage costs even though they might "lose" potential profits. That kind of logic doesn't work with individual mystery box sellers who are usually buying their packs at retail or from booster boxes and putting them into a box which is basically gambling.

That makes literally zero sense from a business perspective. Why would a company intentionally lose money? If the stuff inside is more valuable than the box then you or I could just buy a thousands mystery boxes and then sell everything individually online and make money while the business loses money
Collector's cache sells these every year at Kansas city Comicon, they are pretty fun to open!!
Nice mystery boxes from Collector's Cache for the value of what you get. I think that's the key on the mystery boxes is buying from someone with a good reputation that you can trust to know you will at least get your money's worth

He doesn't have to know every detail about Pokémon in general to be a lover, collector and seller.. i mean i also open products on my CZcams and sell products and singles & I LOVE Pokémon and i always have. I couldn't name every pokeball thats in Pokémon. Does this make me money hungry a liar and greedy?

I've bought different types of "mystery boxes". Some are horrible, some okay, and some are great. It's all a gamble just like buying a pack from the store so I guess you can't complain, but my favorite was the "Pokemon Card 30 Card Lot! CHARIZARD GUARANTEED/ Holo RARES/ Ultra RARES/ 1 Pack" . I think that the contents were good...not amazing or anything but the packaging was so fun. It is just like an original Base Set Booster pack so it felt like I was Opening a super old pack from my childhood. Most cards were modern but it was just so fun.
On another note u should def do a series on this ....would help me break from the temptation of buying deep into these 😂
check out real breaking nate and Leonhart. they will each show you 100s of mystery cubes and boxes to steer you away from the scams.
I love pokemon but even buying a $6 pack with $0.37 worth of cards in them even seems criminalistic to me especially when geared mostly towards children its a horrible gamble 75% of the time
I physically cringed when he opened the Flashfire instead of keeping it sealed, then when he got a non-holo I died a bit inside
New to selling and grading cards. Do you prefer to have your cards graded by PSA or Beckett? Is one better than the other and does one have a better sale return?

ive seen non pokemon related freezer tumblers like that sell for 30+...i wouldnt be surprised if that tumbler retails for the full value of the box at 40
Had some mystery products I was selling of vintage packs, had rares, 1st editions, holos, commons/uncommons, plus a free bonus card - all for £29.95, free international shipping, just did it for fun the profit is practically non-existent - but, eBay took the listing down for chance listings after I sold 300+, they suck big time.

Phantom forces is special to me as it's the first set I got back into the game as an adult. Night march was insane and loved the Gengar! My first modern booster box was Flashfire but of course my Luck is awful so didn't pull a single Charizard! 🙈
I skipped steam siege, & both breakthrough & point as saw they were lame. But was a crazy time of the game and I had complete sets of XY, phantom forces, Flashfire and furious fists at one point! . Sold them years ago when still new and didn't sell them for much at all 😢
I honestly cant believe Seismitoad is only $40 in a psa 10, that card was so present and memorable in its time in the tcg. Just because of how much it was used I would've presumed it would hold that nostalgic value for competitive people haha

XY series were still weighable right? That’s probably what you’re getting in the boxes. Doesn’t mean you can’t get anything but probably less likely that you will. Just an opinion though.

I had ten of those hidden fates balls on the top tried to get $5 on the lot on ebay and couldn't. Ended up throwing them away.

Aside from all the other complaints, can I just say that usability aside, I actually really enjoyed the artwork from steam siege. There aren't many instances of steam punk-ish motifs in Pokémon art from what I've seen before.

you should do a ''all star gx'' opening (100% sure minimum 1 gx per pack)
If you open the packs you can't count the value of the original packs anymore. You should take the value of the cards. And since you didn't pack such good cards the total value you calculated is quite on the high side I would say

I feel like the one problem with poketubers opening mystery boxes is that the seller needs to make a profit so they can’t give you the same amount of value of product as the item. Also shipping shouldn’t be counted as part of the price for making u the value. The seller doesn’t usually profit of shipping it is for paying shipping

Hey I have a Holographic Houndoom, I haven't had it graded but I know for a fact it's at least a Psa 9! I also have a holographic Hypno, they are the only 2 random cards for some reason i managed to unknowingly hold onto for the last 10 plus years lol. I had em all at one point, All meaning the good ones but grew out of it and never kept em SMH! But if you're interested in the Houndoom or Hypno lmk! They are 2 that I honestly don't think i've seen to many people have !
