Beautiful hearing both sides from two beautiful wahine, adept in the calling of karanga. Enjoyed both their whakaaro.

Wow...that was so cool. I did my first Karanga on the Marae back in Feb 2021 on my birthday it was an amazing birthday present, I've never experienced anything quite like this before I felt our tupuna, they calmed me gently pushed me forward and guided through it, I was buzzing for a whole week after that lol. I'm taking Te Reo classes at the moment for this very reason to learn to Karanga, I was chosen by our Kaumātua you have both inspired me, I must admit I am struggling to catch my breath trying not to break the Ropi any advice please ?? Ka pai Hehe..!!

These subtitles are blocking out the actual subtitles. What's this? Technical issues? People won't really know what's being said.

Click the 3 dots at the upper right and CAPTIONS tab. You can deactivate the captions there. 🙂

I think you're a bit too whakahihi toward other wahine. You just do you. Nevermind who is 'entitled' thats not for you to say. Youre not their kuia, their sister, or their daughter or moko because all wahine maori are entitled ehoa.
