5:16 Drew, the joke is that Poland is controlling the submarine thinking he's playing a video game. The controls for the submarine were no normal submarine controls; they were a logitech controller and a TV with a camera on the outside of the submarine
1:00 - I'd just like to point out that OceanGate, the company that was doing those sub tours, is an *American* company, not a Canadian one. While it happened off the shore of Canada, Canada wasn't really involved other than the SAR effort.
As a georgian, I'm happy that we didn't have just one cameo in this Drew Durnil video, but two!

That there are no air conditions is not the only problem with heat in the UK and other parts of europe. Also the houses are build to keep the heat for the long and cold seasons.
You do realize that if you COOL the interior of a house down, the more insulation you have means you keep that cold in for longer, right?
Right?
@@Minalkra Right, but like said, no conditioning, so no cool interiors in the first place.
@@MinalkraThe main problem is that our infrastructure is build to withstand temperatures between just below zero and just above room temperature. Generally, we get quite mild summers and winters with periods of about 15C in-between. So when it got really cold, we froze up, and when we hit 40C last year, we couldn’t do anything because we have no air conditioning or experience of that weather.
4:40 That's what had bothered me in English as Russian native. To us - We're Europid and down south to the Caucasus mountains there are Caucasian people which have different features that could separate them from us, and that would include everything, so Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Chechen, Ingush, any of the Dagestan people, Balkars, Kabardians, Karachays and Cherkessians. Many of those are Muslims and some of Turkic origin and you can easily distinct them from Russians or any other Slavs nearby.
жиза пиздец, я знатно прихуел когда узнал как это слово используется в американской англоязычной среде
Indeed my slavic brethren.
It's easy, only Georgians, Chechen and Ingush are the real Caucasians, the rest of them are not! Balkars, Karachais and Kabardians are Turkic, NOT Caucasian. The real Circassians don't even exist anymore, Russians completely wiped them out, now people who call themselves Circassian are mix of multiple ethnicities, NOT Circassian, and NOT Caucasian. Dagestani are mostly of Persian origings, NOT Caucasian. Azeri are mix between Turkic and Persian, NOT Caucasian. Armenians are originally southern Anatolians, NOT Caucasian. Georgraphically Caucasians are not necessarily ethnic Caucasians.
the Greenland and Japan part is actually referring to the suicide rate in both countries
Palau et Bangladesh: we ar connected by our banners
Yeah
Didnt know people in Greenland oof themselves
4:20 I love how Georgia and Georgia don't understand each other.
7:40 Yeah the real issue in the UK isnt the temperature, its the goddamn humidity, its like being in a Louisiana swamp while in buildings/infrastucture designed for Icelandic weather.
and the houses are built for the opposite, heavily insulated and most houses have double, or even triple glazing, making the inside an oven
7:18 as an Indonesian, I can confirm we do actually wear jackets when its around 30 C or 86 F, I myself regularly do that when I go outside sometimes
8:47 Oh no Drew. That's not Armenia. Armenia was a republic of the USSR just like Azerbaijan and was never a part of Azerbaijan. The "country"ball shown is Nagorno-Karabakh (or Artsakh). That is a disputed region between Armenia and Azerbaijan as it is inhabited mostly by ethnic Armenians who want to be independent of Azerbaijan. It is internationally recognized as part of Azerbaijan. Several wars happened there already and now the situation is getting intense again.
I was gonna comment this but instead you can have my like
@@cerjmedia well thanks. Here's a like for your reply as well
Finally someone points it out thank you my good sir.I was going to say something but then I would have to find and look at Real Life Lore and find the name for Nagorno-Karabakh. Thank you for teaching this.

it was part of Azerbaijan like 5-6 times
Situation in UK is slightly different then mentioned. There hasn´t been a (severe) Heatwave so far this Year but 30°C is not uncommon, especially in the South. The first time Temperatures in UK rose above 37°C was in 1990 with 37.1°C (98.8°F). That Record was broken in 2003 with 38.5°C (101.3°F) followed by 2019 with 38.7°C (101.7°F). A severe but luckily short Heatwave in 2022 lead to Temperatures up to 40.3°C (104.5°F).
Air conditioning is barely existing and Houses usually are built in a way they trap the Heat inside. Also the livestyle is not adapted to Temperatures well above 30°C. When Nights are also warm (20°C+, 68°F+) this lead to a lot of deaths in recent Heatwaves. The 2003 Heatwave killed an estimated 2200 People in England and Wales, 2019 had 900 Deaths in England and 2022 lead to the death of 3300 People. A Heatwave in 2020 (up to 37.8°C, 100°F) caused 2600 Deaths.
The Temperatures may not be high compared to many other Countries, but when a Society is not used to it and makes things even worse with a behaviour they think is beneficial to reduce Temperatures inside but actually proves to be fatal, then these "low" Temperatures can be really bad too. And thats something we see across all of Central Europe.
I live the state , of Tasmania, in Australia. Yesterday I was shopping no big deal about that . As I go shopping every Thursday . It was 9 C about 45 F . It was not particularly cold so I decided to wear a T-Shirt with a pair Levis and boots Wrangler White Cowbow hat made in Mexico.
you also forgot to mention that on average the UK humidity is over 60% whereas in countries that typically get higher heat are way below that. for example california on average has a temperature of 105F with less than 20% humidity whereas britain reached that same temperature in the heatwave of 2022 and still had a humidity level of 70%+
@@kosmic_kamui6699 Thats luckily wrong. During the Afternoon of 19th July 2022, Humidity in England where the Heat peaked was between 15 and 30%. The Coasts had higher values but also far lower Temperatures. The Humidity Levels you mention in combination with such high Temperatures are found in the Tropics. And even there, 40°C and 70% humidity is extremely rare. That would result in a Wet Bulb Temperature of 34.9°C. 35°C is believed to be fatal for everybody in a matter of 6 Hours.
@@lukasrentz3238 you are correct, sorry i had my dates confused and looked at the wrong months humidity levels, thank you for pointing that out

I didn't know "Iron Lung" was a game.
My mind always went to the hospital thing...
The reason why hot wetter in Europe is worse is because of the Air humidity. The coutnries shown lie in arid places, while humid places not only make you feel heat through the light and ground, but also the air as the water in the air warms up. This doesn't happen in arid places, as gasses don't heat up so much, which turns down the heat affect
I thought it was because English houses are basically built out of cardboard. I dated a girl from Scotland a while and she couldn't fathom how my apartment at the time could be so quiet even though it was close to a road because she was used to a single glass frame in the window and poor isolation (I lived in Malmö at the time, Edinburg is actually cooler in the winter).
English houses are cold in the winter and warm in the summer because they are poorly built so high and low temperature is a problem for them. NO AC and pretty bad heating doesn't help either.
@@loke6664 German Houses Are build with thick walls, yet it's warm in the Winter, cold in the Summer, so no, it's not because of the houses.
@@sansinator0889 Uh, that doesn't make any sense. Well built houses keeps the temperature closer to room temperature while poorly built houses keeps the houses cold in the winter and warm in the summer.
So yeah, Germany have well built houses and are way less sensitive to extreme heat or cold then the British houses.
In England the waterlines often freezes in the winter, I bet Germany don't have that problem.
Of course no matter how well your house is built you will feel the outside temperature but the shoddier the house the larger that impact will be.
@@loke6664then she probably lived in a more modern house or something as majority of houses in the uk are built to trap heat in for the winter , thats also why back in 2022 , houses caught literal fire during the heatwave
In the comic about Russia shooting other countries, I think that it is Artsakh that leaves Azerbaijan, not Armenia
8:45 Not Armenia, but Karabakh.
10:50 Greenland is POLAND with a flipped circle, NOT JAPAN.

As a British person, I can confirm that the people complaining about heat is ridiculous. Every house in the UK is designed to let all the heat out so it's always nice and cold inside.
