Reopening of all closed railway lines on the island of Ireland North to South, East to West & Midlands too should happen to prevent 1) Pollution, 2) Traffic Jams & 3) Car Accidents/Road Deaths there's need for 24 hour trains in summer & St. Stephen's Day trains too.
The "modern" trains IE have wasted their money on are not much use when the track beneath them means timings on all routes except Dublin-Sligo have gotten WORSE! But I wouldn't expect much more from a company where it's not a sackable offence to be caught stealing!

Someone clearly doesn't travel by rail or else has a mad chip on their shoulder
Sounds similar to British Rail (who no longer exist!)
Is Irish rail really that bad? I have to travel with them next week...
There not that bad now
Not true, but funny
Very funny! But it's not all that bad. When the Enterprise North works sure it's grand altogether.
I think IE are better than NIR so where are all the bad comments coming from?
Pathetic axe grinding.
