- The video is not speeded up. It takes around 11 minutes and 30 seconds for light containment zone to lockdown, despite the fact that the timer shows different timescale.

The CASSIE Lcz decontamination timer is automatically sped up by the game.

As the time approaches 0, it progressively gets closer to real time. It's only accurate when you reach the 30 second warning (for obvious reasons)

The timer never reaches normal, at 25 seconds I paused it and skipped 10 seconds and ended at 17
Timestamp if u need it:
0:16 - countdown starts
3:34 - 10 minute left
6:51 - 5 minute left
10:08 - 1 minute left
10:39 - LCZ decontamination final warning
10:50 - cassile 20 second countdown
11:10 - all doors locked and decontamination starts

i remember my first SCP:SL game, i couldn't find my way out before the LCZ decontamination sequence, i also sucked as MTF

I'll show you how he actually did it in a few steps.
1. Create a non-dedicated server
2. Open console with |°~
3. Say "adminme"
4. Close console, start the match and open remote admin (M)
5. Go to txt-based RA.
6. Give yourself noclip
7. Sit at the countdown tablet like an idiot for 11.5 minutes.

i hope soon they add C.A.S.S.I.E. Override switch in a room 10x10 and only can be opened by 05 card
Even x0.25 speed wont slow the countdown to real time
On that speed it's too slow even on the fastest 15/10mins
What's the point of getting a keycard when you could just camp at one exit and change between that and other close location until the 30 second mark hits, so you can pass through the "permanently" open checkpoint?

@@tjrember Technically you can do this every round, but this kind of playstyle is extremely anticlimactic and leaves you with no items whatsoever

Always but u can disable in server settings
At the beginning of the round, you have 15 minutes to grab as much as you can, upgrade stuff in SCP-914 and possibly go to armory to get equipped. The C.A.S.S.I.E system will periodically announce how much time is left before the decontamination. This was a mechanic to essentially shrink the playing field so that its easier to hunt down remaining players and end the game.
Like how the 15 minute decontamination is 11 minutes
The seconds are counting down slightly faster than usual. Time is irrelevant in scp:sl.
fun fact: at the beginning of the countdown the timer is sped up in game, and slowly gets more accurate to real time, so you actually have 30sec at the end.
Does anyone notice the timer is counting faster in the (15/10) phase?????????
