  • During our previous Air Arms Adventure we joined expert airgun shooter, Ian Harford as he discussed some of the features of one of his favourite air rifles. (Click here to watch now - • The Air Arms S510 Ulti... ) Today, Air Arms ambassador, Eddie Jones shares his farmyard pest control tips with the Air Arms S510 Ultimate Sporter.
For more details and specifications for the Air Arms S510 Ultimate Sporter, please visit - www.air-arms.c...
Eddie will explain the importance of pest control and airgun safety when working on a farm. There is a mixture of livestock such as, cattle, horses and goats, all of which need to be considered before undertaking any airgunning activities.
Rats, rabbits, doves and woodpigeons are just some of the pests that can cause havoc to farmlands like this. It is critical to keep on top of vermin control and understand how to identify infestation signs, such as droppings and warrants.
A local landowner who has been having some problems with rabbits also joins Eddie to talk about the dangers that they can cause. Not just to animals, but humans alike.
Lightweight, well balanced and accurate, the Air Arms S510 Ultimate Sporter is the ideal airgun for pest control.

Two days ago using a sub 12lb (Average regulated 11.5 lbs on Chromo) on a Permission)) Air Arms Ultimate Sporter zeroed at 35 yards with Air Arms .22 Diablo 16 grains Field Pellet (Hawke Airmax 30 SF 4-16×50 AMX IR) took a Corvid out with single head shot (no wind) at 99.5 yards (Nikon Laser Ranger). I hunt with long glass large bore rifles at huge distances in Sindh Province mainly. In UK I love to use the Air Rifle at distances and I am very confident with such a distance. Would I take a rabbit at 99.5 yards, no I would not (80 yards head shot, no issue and often); I always take shots on a bipod in the prone position! This enhances placement accuracy! Having stated that the .22 pellet went straight through the back of the corvids head and instant kill. I am 56 years old and have been using air rifles since early seventies and I must admit with these modern PCP's the whole range factor has changed drastically. The Air Arms 510 Ultimate Sporter sub 12lb is a consistant one shot killing machine.

Straight up common sense video stressing safety, which is ultimate especially around animals and other persons. There are precautions to take and these are well explained. This guy provided a very concise and well instructed video. I’ll be watching this one again I am sure👏👍🏻😊

I would really like to buy an S510 but for me, it would take an long time before i can ever affort one. I have always been an big fan of Air Arms products overall and am going to save up intel i can afford it and learn the rifle and customize it to my liking. Anyway Air Arms must never stop with what they doing and always carry on bettering their mistakes and fixing them. Sorry for my English not my strong point.
