Same , I'll be keeping my pair of Flip 4's and Charge 3. Not remotely interested in JBL's mono path or lack of aux in.

@@Chriselchingon23 To me the Charge 3 presents a more dynamic and exciting sound signature, I also use the Aux in from time to time. I have a pair of JBL Flip 4’s which pair with the Charge 3 and complement one another extremely well.
IMO JBL is simply cost cutting by removing features such as Aux and designing mono solutions that have zero backwards compatibility (wireless pairing) with the last series. There’s only so much can be done with these smaller form factor BT speakers at a given price point, with the competition now catching up and to some extents exceeding JBL sonically.
Ultimately if JBL don't offer the hardware with the features I want, then I have absolutely no reason to purchase their gear. I travel a lot as a factor of my profession and have gone through endless BT speakers to find the best solution and they all have their own positives and negatives. JBL Charge 4 & Flip 5 are too compromised for my liking and arguably present a less interesting sound signature, bumping up the bass a touch doesn't cover up the deficiencies...

Great song choice for the intro Toni (Lana Del Rey "West Coast")...and later with other Lana's songs :)
About that new Flip from JBL, I would say I really like the new packaging and the design, but the sound quality seems to be not that impressive. Typical "Flip" sound : too much treble and not really bassy. I don't think they improved that much compares the Flip 4. Just my opinion.
If you can do it, try to compare this new Flip 5 with the new ultra portable "Vifa City". But I already know who will be the winner haha :)
Thanks for your work Toni. You and Oluv are defnitely the best reviewers for bluetooth speakers.

@@speakertoni2680 Yeah, she's awesome. Love her since his first album "Born To Die" ! great idea to use Lana's songs for testing speakers. Songs from "Born to Die" are muscially rich and it's a great way to test speakers. Most of the time, tracks from BTD just sounds pretty bad on Bose and JBL speakers. It's the cas here with the JBL speakers in the video. On Vifa or Minirigs, it sounds just fine !
I can't wait your review and comparisons about Vifa City. Oluv already did it on his channel but he didn't talked about battery life...Nice to see you back Toni ! see you in the next video :)

      I really appreciate it
Especially National Anthem sounds so bad on so many big system as it’s very busy yet clean
So it’s very easy to make out mistakes and problems in any speaker with this track

Top tip: You can link through the USB out on the Charge 4 to the USB-C in, because there are two separate batteries in the Charge 4. This is a tip I got from a JBL employee/salesman in my local shop.

Well I'm like you Toni I never put my speaker into a water. I listen to my bose soundlink micro in the shower but always put it on the shelf where it will not get wet, despite the fact it is completely waterproof. In fact the sound of any speaker gets distorted once it is fully wet so what is the point of submerging speaker in the water? Meybe they are good if you accidentaly drop it into a bath or pool and that is it. With flip 5 what I dont like is that exposed charging port, I still preffer flaps. It may be ok with water but when you take it to the beach and you will get a lot of sand in there it will be a nightmare to take it out. Or you may get a lot of dirt in there overtime.
