Thank you Ruth, I have really enjoyed it this year. Sorta getting some ideas of what I want to do for Christmas decorating but not in a hurry. Happy Thanksgiving to you too.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! I am thankful that I found your flosstube and am grateful for all the stitching and decorating inspiration that you provide. I would like to see a start on Deer Santa, but you have to do what makes you happy!
Hoping that your Thanksgiving was happy and peaceful and enjoyed by your family. Loving your plans and I love both of Kathy Barricks, but I think that the first one Deer Santa would be my choice. I love that Christmas Bag, it would be great for all my Christmas smalls to keep in one place. Take care of yourself, stay healthy, looking forward to your next flosstube. Sending you many warm hugs from sunny Arizona.
Yes, compote! I couldn't think of the term. I hope you didn't rush hubby too much this morning, wink, wink. So far it's looking like Reindeer Games has the lead vote. Thanks Cathi!!
Kristi you always have such adorable finishes and they are so inspiring!!! Love your frame and finishing fabric. Always liked the KB reindeer games. Wishes for a wonderful Thanksgiving with many blessings .
Always love your displays. Good luck with your choices on Thanksgiving and December 1st. I would want to start them all 😂 Happy Holidays to you and your family, enjoy 🦃🍂🌻🪡🧵
Hi Kristi, I stitched and watched this afternoon. As usual I love the patterns you choose. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving full of family and friends! Blessings, Marlene
Love the fabrics you have pulled for your little Christmas finishes...they are perfect! Look forward to seeing them all finished up. You have some good choices for your Thanksgiving start...hard to choose. Have a blessed Thanksgiving and happy stitching.
Such beautiful finishes and projects!! I have the Not forgotten Farm book as well. Turkey Trot I stitched for my sister last year. So cute! Can’t wait to see what you’ve finished next time! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. God bless you and your family.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. This has been another inspiring flosstube, your needles must be on fire! Love all the Notforgotten Farm, so many on my list. I vote for stitching Reindeer Games, it's unique and fun.
I vote for Reindeer Games and ADORE how Turkey Trot came out. Although all your stitching is beautiful- gonna stitch this afternoon and watch you again😘.
Will look forward to seeing how you finish several of the pieces you showed. You have a wonderful selection of fabrics for pillows and hanging pouches. I stitched Grateful, Thankful, Blessed last year and I had to change many of the called for colors. So many were just too ghosty to work for me. I also stitched the words in a darker color as you are doing. I think you will be glad you made that change. It is a fun piece to stitch. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day and will look forward to seeing what you do on the finishes. Take care and happy stitching, Norma in Boise, ID
I love all your choices. I am working on Jingle Bells thanks to your inspiration. I do love that big black turkey behind you. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!!
I’d start reindeer games. I think I’d like to order that one! You always have the best patterns for primitive stitching! The pillow will look great with your fabric picks also! Have a good thanksgiving!
That "Christmas" with the red fabric will make a great pillow! I starting stitching this week for first time in over 40 years, and I'm doing one of her patterns. I picked a real easy one to start off. Frogging while I watch this. LOL Happy Thanksgiving to you! I saw a few patterns that I'd love to stitch, but first I need to finish what I've started. I don't think I'll be a stitcher with many projects going. I like to work on one thing at a time with crafting.
Congrats on getting back into cross stitch. I've been watching and wondering if you might. Exciting! There are so many choices nowadays, so many wonderful designers and fabrics. Never say never, wink wink. I love all of Jenny's designs, so prim. Enjoy your stitching!
Thanks for sharing your projects, I am also doing Turkey Trot, i changed up the colors a little, the house is taking (For me) for ever to stitch. But i still love it! Have a blessed holiday.
Hi Diane, Turkey Trot is such a great piece. Im wishing I would have changed the color on the pots of the stars/flowers now. I still could but Im on to other things now. Have a great holiday and thanks for stopping in.
Your Thanksgiving stitches are all wonderful as are your plans for Christmas stitching. I think Dear Santa would be my Thanksgiving day start, I love the big moon! It’s hard to pick just one when you want to stitch all of the things! 🦃 Happy Thanksgiving!
Love your stitching! I love your primitive decor! Definitely all my style as well! The pillow you are going to make with the Christmas from Country Rustic is going to look awesome with that leftover runner! Great idea! I never saw The Reindeer Games. I really like that one for you to start, and I think I'll order it too! Have a blessed Thanksgiving!🦃
Have a wonderful holiday and enjoy your new stitch, whatever you decide on. I am partial to the Reindeer Games by Kathy Barrick...love the bowl with the houses.
Jennifer McMillan~ Love when I see you have a video up !!!! Girl you got one smokin needle,as I’m sitting here stitching fall right now……I gotta move on to Christmas asap🤣…….you have sent me down a rabbit trail!!!!!!! I cannot wait to see how you finish your Christmas pieces ! You and your family have a real nice Thanksgiving. Happy Stitching Jennifer❌❌🧵🪡✂️🦃
Hi Jennifer! Yes, my needle has been flying, but Im having fun. Ohboy, rabbit trails are fun, enjoy! I hope you and your family have a great Thanksgiving and thank you for always being so kind to me.
Love the Primitive Betty’s piece, I will have to track it down. I do have a few of her patterns . Beautiful stitching and finishing...😻. I am kitting up the Carnation sampler too !! Can’t wait to see how you finish all your stitching..
I have a very small start on Thankful Grateful Blessed. I’m also stitching on one of Priscilla’s November pieces. So many choices!!! I look forward to seeing what you picked! Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃 Barbara
You’re stitching is always so pretty. For the Santa bag, I would just use the stitched linen piece for the front and use the red plaid for the back. I vote for Deer Santa! Happy thanksgiving 🦃
Oh you have been busy! All so awesome. Lol I need to think of better or different finishing ideas as well. And the reindeer i would just do the houses in the tray. Lol. Have s great holiday.
Kristy, the designs you choose just make me melt! I want to grow up to be just like you! (Lol! I’m sure I’m actually much older than you already.) I’m working on a SubRosa Thanksgiving design right now. I would choose to stitch the Reindeer Games pattern next. That village in the bowl is precious. Happy Thanksgiving! Wishing you many blessings!
Happy Thanksgiving. Enjoy your videos so much. Like the floss color change on Grateful, Thankful Blessed. Reindeer Games would be my choice. I think I have that. Might have to dig it out of the stash. I like your fabric choices. Great finishing as well. The coverlet with the Christmas stitch is genius!
I really like the Summer Khaki for Bringing Home the Greens, I'll have to remember that as I like stitching on that linen. Love those Kathy Barrick patterns, I can't decide either lol! Great projects/finishes, I want to stitch everything you showed! Happy Thanksgiving 😊
Great job getting so many things finished! My vote is for you to start the reindeer flying over the village. I can't tell what that container is supposed to be either 😉 Happy Thanksgiving!
I didn't remember seeing that Notforgotten Farm book before but it certainly had some great designs! I vote for SN Hanging if the Greens. Her borders are special. Happy Thanksgiving!
Hi, Kristy. Just now catching up. (Yikes!) Thanks for reminding me of The Gathering of the Greens. I've been wanting to do that one for a while now. I'm thinking of doing HATS Mary Snow as a start for December. There are lots of reds and greens in that sampler. I like both of the Kathy Barrick choices. I'm no help. Lol
Hi Kim, well dust that puppy off. I bet you would have it complete in a couple days as speedy as you are, you amaze me! Thanksgiving Blessings to you and hubby.
As usual, I absolutely love it all! The Red & Green Carnation Sampler is beautiful & on my wish list. My Thanksgiving start will be another prairie school Santa for 1 of my dough bowls. Everything from now until 1/1 will be Christmas projects, except for my Christmas Day start which will be Love is the Key by T Kogut. I’d love to have it done by Valentines Day🥴 Happy Thanksgiving🦃🧡
Those Kathy Barrick choices are a tough call, better start both! 😊. I have to say, I’m in love with the dark turkey behind you! Where did you find him? I’m finishing up Grateful, Thankful, Blessed today (hopefully). I didn’t like how ghosty the letters were, but decided to wait until I finished the piece to make a decision. I’m glad I did. I decided to highlight the word “harvest” which I stitched in Heirloom Gold, and then kept the rest of the letters in the called for. I really like how its coming out. It won’t be framed by next week, but I’m happy it will be completed for next year. I’m choosing one or two (among many) new Thanksgiving stitches to start Thanksgiving day. Aside from that, it’s full on Christmas!!!
Hi Lori, it might be both will get started! I found that turkey at Hobby Lobby a couple years ago. He is great. Sounds like great plans and looking forward to seeing what you choose. Happy Stitching.
I don't remember exactly where I purchased it, but you might search for "coverlet runner" and you should be able to find several different colors and patterns. I love them.
Did you stitch “Christmas Garden ” by Blackbird? I was thinking you got a floss conversion and I really liked it and wanted to know if you had the colors written down somewhere. Also when you stitch your Santa pieces, do you use that special floss for the beard that makes it look fuzzy? I was wondering what is it called?? I love everything you do. I really liked the turkey on Giving Thanks.
Hi Toni, no I haven't stitched Christmas Garden so Im sorry I cant help with that. I used regular DMC floss for Santas beard. Thank you very much and have a great Thanksgiving.
I always think I need to stitch more turkeys and then I roll right into Christmas stitching. Thanks for sharing.
