Emerson Microwave door won't stay closed

Client comment: "The door to my faithful microwave just mysteriously stopped latching, so of course the microwave itself won't function"
Spoiler alert: The spring that holds the latching hooks down broke off. Surprise expletive at about the 12:00 mark as the plastic crumbles, mid-repair.
