One of the best and worst parts of having an emotional personality is when a song hits it just hits. I can't relate to what she went through but I can relate to the pain side of LOVE! She's amazing!

Her voice is perfection. The fact that she sounds this good live, with barely any accompaniment but also puts so much emotion into her song is just incredible and so beautiful.
This performance is incredible. Her performances of Penthouse on tour have all been amazing, but the intimacy of the Grand Ole Opry stage takes this one to another level.
this is such an interesting speech because rolling up the welcome mat is the only album of hers that i like (i've tried to go back and listen to her others since i discovered it but i don't like them at all) and i think it's because she truly had something worth saying - that she needed to say. i really think she should consider tapping into that in her future work and not worry so much about the other stuff because listeners will find the authenticity in a song or an album and connect with it whether it initially seems like it will be 'good on radio' or 'play well live' (which i think these songs DO anyway) or not

This artist sets the bar for performers. I love that I always have to check who’s singing when she puts out a new song. They go from playfull to crazy funny, wistful and to this masterpiece flawlessly. She could never be boring and I hope her career always feels fresh and fulfilling to her.
