SubhashJi unforfortunately doesn't take care of quality when sent through Amazon or Flipkart. Through he is a master of flute making.
Agree, threading quality become poor, i have ordered G base flute and the thread starts loosing thr grip automatically..
He sells B grade or c grade flute online and if you buy directly from him you will get the perfect one

Clearance flute may not look fine and the bamboo may become b slightly bend as it is cheaper but it will not effect the tuning of the flute...
Recently I have purchased on line G sharp 25 inches basuri on line from punam flutes shop. But I felt that some thing is wrong in respect of pa notes w.r.t. another basuri purchased from punam flutes before some months . What are the reasons not known.

Are flutes we order online and ones we personally check at their workshop are of different quality.

till the date i have met at least 7-8 persons...All are facing the same problem...they purchased online and flutes were not perfect.
Conclusion : better purchase directly
This is the case a lot of times, Online flutes are not always tuned properly because you don't get to try it before buying. Where as when you order direct from a flute maker, they make sure it's properly tuned because you're directly in touch with the flute maker.

Buy flutes from punam flutes only if you can go visit them and check the tuning by yourself,else you would end up getting an untuned flute I bet.

I think it's quite horrible to get good basuri. Only flutist can purchase best among the few basuri.

It's noticeable that subhash ji got good basuri from his bag after checking five to six basuries. But what about the people those who getting online..
Quality suffers. I also have a G Bass flute from Punam Flutes which I ordered online and its not as good as I wished it to be.
