SC Video: Foundation stone laying ceremony of Gyalwa Latsun chenpo centre at Simik Lingzey

February 19: The ceremony had presence of 12th Chamgon Kenting Tai Situ Rinpoche, 10th Kyabje Tinkey Gonjang Rinpoche along with Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang, SLA speaker Minister RDD Sonam Lama, officals and locals. The project "Design & development of Gyalwa Lhatsun chenpo centre at Simik Lingzey, Rapen and badong for Sikkim Buddhism and Buddhist craft" is being build at an cost of Rs 43.59 cr spread at over 7.92 acres The project phase I includes centre for Buddhism and Buddhist craft along with the 50ft statue of Latsun Khempo. The project also includes constructing replica of four sacred caves in Sikkim.
