It's such a perfect theme with so much character. That synth works as a great heelish sting, the instrumental keyboards just feel right in line with modern "prestige" music in the same way MJF sees himself as better than everyone, and the chill bridge is a beautiful extra touch.

Samoa Joe's "DESTROYER" theme sounds terrifying. Its like a monster slowly coming to kill you.
First time I heard it I thought Godzilla showed up on NXT, which yeah he pretty much did.

Let's not forget that they had to redo it because while the intro was the same, what came after was completely opposite of what Samoa Joe is.
My personal favorite wrestlemania moment was at 35, right after kofi just won, the next match was joe mysterio for the us title. Joe’s entrance on that stage with that music blaring got the tired ass crowd to chant “JOE JOE JOE” and then he just gets in the ring and merks rey in 10 seconds. God damn amazing

Edge's theme song hit so different during his return...like the lyrics really reflected the moment and man did it give me goosebumps.

That song playing during his Rumble return was such a beautiful moment. It really brought a tear to my eye.

True story: "Metalingus" is the entire reason I got into Edge, who would become one of my top 3 favorite wrestlers of all time.
I wasn't even a big Edge fan back in the day but when Metalingus started playing at the Royal Rumble I jumped out of my seat

Edge had other good themes like Never Gonna Stop by Rob Zombie and his hybrid theme with Randy Orton as Rated RKO.

I love MJF's theme, personally. The melody is just so fun and earworm-y, it really fits him in the fact the melody is quite simple and light but the song goes on to sound very imposing.

Hearing "You think you know me" followed by that guitar riff turned an entire arena into coarse voiced workers the following day. It is THE greatest licensed theme song in the history of wrestling, and you can't change my mind about it. It fits Edge so well as both a heel and a face, and as soon as "You think you know me" hits, you either boo or cheer, and at that Rumble, the arena had people leaving without their voices.

What makes Battle Cry even better for me is that LittlevMills, a youtube cover artist, performs it. Man's getting his recognition.

It took me a couple of listens to realize the song is about a cat... and that fits Bray Wyatt perfectly because it doesn't.

It’s actually according the artist about someone falling so in love with someone it ends up being to their detriment “broken out in love” if you will. The reason Bray used it it appears is more cause it fit his vibe super well. It was a song that already existed that they chose. But yeah cat is used as a metaphor in it.

Gotta say Christian Cage's theme doesn't get the love it should. It was a banger in TNA and hearing it again is probably my favourite thing about Christian wrestling outside WWE

The greatest part of Edges theme is that it fits even better now than it did back in 2011, with the long struggle Edge had getting back to wrestling the song truly feels like it tells his life story
It was brilliant foreshadowing and now it just fits beautifully.
Broken Dreams - Drew McIntyre's old theme, been literally banging it all day for weeks when I found it again after years, so amazing
also Eddie Kingston's current theme is just ideal to his character and so good as well
Broken Dreams is one of my favorite theme of a wrestler, I wish that he used it when he came back but it never happened.
Aleister Black's root of all evil was so awesome and badass with his slow ascent from hell to above. When I saw him first time I was instantly hooked. And it fitted so well with the character and his gimmick. Too bad WWE didn't utilize him properly on main roster.
ive really come around on his aew theme at least, its so damn intimidating it makes you feel like a deer caught in the headlights, i just wish that the commentators would stop talking over it all the time

Miro's theme suits his character possibly better than anybody else's in wrestling today. You definitely get the feeling of an incoming brutal conqueror on a mission from god (or maybe now against god) when you hear those horns blaring
Eddie Kingstons theme is so good. Banger beat, the organ (is that what it is?) in the background is a great touch, and it just makes me want to fight someone listening to it
It reminds me of old svr 08 rap tracks, which is a good thing
My personal favourite will always be CM Punk's old theme, "This Fire Burns" by Killswitch Engage.
It fit his character so well, especially during MITB2011.
That theme genuinely gives me chills everytime I see that entrance,with the hometown crowd nearly drowning out the theme with their cheers.Cult Of Personality wouldn't have suited him as well for that match.
It should've been his entrance at AEW. Just fits his arc well in hindsight.

As a 2000s wrestling fan, I always thought that face Punk was more suited to this theme than Cult of Personality. It just invokes that babyface-tweener imagery of a man who won't back the hell down, a warrior spirit willing to scratch, and claw, and to fight another day. In fact, I think Cult of Personality should've been his first entrance. It fits his counter-culture mid-card days, conveying a rockstar on the rise that gathers more believers day by day, and his initial heel run with the SES, because he's literally a cult leader.
Between that and cult of personality, they're my favorites of all time. Up there with edge, batista and benoit. And killswitch is one of my favorite bands so that helps.

Romans theme gets me so hype. I’ll listen to it in the gym and I’ll start doing curls and then look down and I have 65 in my hand for some reason. Then I’m like “wait I was supposed to be shoulder shrugs, how can I curl this much weight all the sudden”

You mentioned it, but only in passing when talking about Orange Cassidy's theme: Darby Allin's theme "I Fell" is an _absolute banger_ and probably my favourite theme at the moment, although that's probably influenced by Darby being one of my favourite guys and me always being excited to see him come out.
Gotta say I like Bryan Danielson's new theme...sure it took a while to get used to but hear the crowd chant yes in sync to the beat is awesome

I think both Seamus and Drew MacIntyre deserve honorable mentions. They're both really sick spins on classic celtic music and just sound awesome. Drew's really does make hin feel like a killer badass and feels really fitting for him. And seamus' theme simply sounds really nice and I like it alot. Ive always thought seamy had a sick entrance song

Drew's tna theme wish it away theme is his best one. But his current one is more exhilarating if that makes sense. He comes out like a Savage with it. And Sheamus current theme is good.

Haven't watched WWE for so long, I didn't even know Roman had a new theme. And it's great. Good luck to this guy. I doubt I will ever return to WWE, but I heard he's awesome and it's cool he found his own thing after all these years.
It's very much a taste thing but I adore Malakai Black's current entrance theme. It sounds totally different to any other theme in AEW right now and really fits his character.
My favourite wrestling theme currently is Samoa Joe’s. A 30 second loop that is timed to perfection by Joe’s movements, the fat brass and hip hop beat dictates the pace of a walrus about to murder their opponent. Subtle chants in the background allude to Joe’s cultural heritage giving a tribal aura which is complemented wonderfully by the pizzicato strings.
It sums up Samoa Joe as a person and a character perfectly, and that’s why it’s the best wrestling theme today.

I just wish Roman's entrance matched his music. How it doesnt start with light's out and "All hail the tribal chief" slowly appearing in the tron before everything explodes is beyond me

You don’t need to see lights turning off; people hailing from the arena. All you get to see is that people are on their feet to witness his entrance. The ideas are already cliched, and I’m enjoying his entrance endlessly.
I was there live when Poppy first perform Scary Mask during Io Shirai's entrance. That should've been her new theme.

My favourite one going right now is Battle Cry, though, it's goddamn hot.
Danielson's Valkyries rap is actually hella fun to listen to just by itself when you can hear the lyrics.
My favorite current, and maybe of all time is Judas. Sung by the wrestler himself, made by his own band, a great representation of Jericho, and the aura it gives when the crowd sings along. Banger.

Maybe it's just because I'm a die-hard metalhead, but man, "Ogentroost" (Malakai Black's current theme) is already one of the all time greats. It is somehow equal parts atmospheric and foreboding yet also hard-hitting and blunt so it fits Malakai's character perfectly. The wailing vocals give off the impression of a forlorn wanderer's pain while also establishing that there's a sense of control and determination within the surrounding chaos. Never thought I'd hear a Black Metal entrance theme in a major promotion but this one easily knocked it out of the park.
I love Shayna Bazler’s, every time I hear those horses I know it’s about to go down. Also love Kevin Owens’ theme. It’s simple, maybe not the most memorable, but man if I don’t pop every time I hear that guitar.

Kevin Owens' theme gets me hyped every fricken time I hear it. The heavy as heavy gets guitar riff, the pounding bass drum. immediate adrenaline shot. Also honorable mention, Pete Dunne's theme before they changed it, cause WWE hates everything cool and doesn't want us to have nice things.

Hangman's Tale is one of my most favorite AEW themes. While yeah it's a updated version of his Bullet Club Theme Ghost Town Battles but it still has that western theme that let's you the Cowboy has come to fight.
Metalingus is amazing, one of my favourite songs. So glad I got to hear it done live when j went to see alter bridge
Goldberg's theme during his peak was very much the definition of FINAL BOSS music.

Wouldve loved to see Jon Moxleys theme on the list. I think it fits his character so perfectly, its great to sing along with and everytime i listen to it on Spotify i have to stop myself from kicking chairs and throwing water bottles. It is just so good

bobby’s titan theme just made me feel like people were about to get hurt absolute banger
I mean tbh I would say Brock Lesnar's just because of how he is presented currently. Its very weird seeing the usual boss theme be something you would like to hear, as if its a saving grace because of Lesnar being some sort of tweener and Roman being the fcking monster he is currently. Imagine The Imperial Death March but instead of Vader going after you he goes after someone more dangerous dropping all pretense of being the Dark Lord and just wanting to be the only standing dominant guy in the room. It added nuanced to him of this aging, past his time beast cast down to the deepest pits of hell through the claymore of a certain Scottish Warrior only to be reawaken because of the ego and power of another more dangerous foe. Yes he is the Next Big Thing but can he conquer THE Next Big Thing right now would be the current question.
An under rated theme for me is Guerrillas of Destiny’s theme “Firing Squad”. Great theme that fits them perfectly

Darby Allin's, Eddie Kingston's and Cody Rhodes's themes should've definitely been on here. They are absolute bangers.
One of my personal favorite theme music was Drew McIntyre's theme, Broken Dreams when he was first in WWE in late 2009, early 2010. That theme is so freaking good, the one he using now is good but Broken Dreams just hits different man.

Also okada the guy's entrance reeks of top guy, also great o khan (an unpopular opinion but I love it so much), regarding America I recently love new andrade's aew entrance.... He slowly undressing from buisiness suit into wrestling gear with mariachi theme playing is just awasome

Chris Jericho 100% best theme when the crowd sang him down to the ring for his match with mjf has to be the best or one of the best wrestling entrances ever to exist
I'm a huge fan of Tetsuya Naito's personally. I don't think it tops the list but man is it a banger. A storied man with the theme music that tells such a story through mere instruments... during Wrestle Kingdom 14, it felt like such a hero's entrance as he faces the final boss that is the Rainmaker.
I literally thought this morning, “I hope PartsFunKnown does a best entrance theme list.” So glad this channel can read my mind.
Glad to see Edge get the #1 here always have and always will love the man, the wrestler, the entrance. (Don't feel bad Oli I cried when edge made his first return at the Royal Rumble.)

Roman’s theme reeks greatness! His slow walk - the aura that surrounds the atmosphere when that theme hits is incredible. Kudos to the one who composed this majestic theme song.

As a guitarist that's building their channel on learning to play and cover wrestling themes, I personally gotta give the nod to Finn Balor's entrance music, but no one can really argue with Edge. Great video as always Adam!
Great list! Especially with Edge at number one! Like Cult of Personality, Metalingus is a theme that never falls to get me hyped. One underrated theme that I think could have lingered around the bottom or as an honorable mention is Eddie Kingston's AEW theme, the Castlevania-style organs behind some great lyrics give his entrance a real "big fight feel" as they say.
I feel like I'm alone on this one but Tanahashi's "Love and Energy" gets me way hype too, even though I'm not a huge fan of his, I love it when he enters the arena. GO ACE!!
I've still got to put Jeff Hardy towards the top, probably right under punk at that #3 spot. Can;t go wrong with No More Words.

I hate that they didn’t mix “Here To Show The World” and “Glorious Domination” did there theme, that is so baffling to me. That sounds like it could be so good.

I honestly didn't like Roman's new theme at first but it slowly grew on me and I love it now
Being an AEW fan in 2021 is fantastic.
I think Mox’s Death Rider theme should be on here. I’d also take Hangman’s theme over many of these songs.

I’ll be seriously disappointed if no impact themes don’t make the list as Moose, Eddie Edwards, Decay all have fantastic themes. I’d even add Rich Swann’s and Mickie James’ Hardcore Country as that is the best version of Mickie
I think FinJuice theme in Impact is one of the best.
Kota Ibushi’s theme is incredibly triumphant and energizing. Maybe not so much as an ENTRANCE theme, but as a closing theme after winning, there’s no better wrestler theme imo
Edges theme really is like the perfect wrestling theme. Catchy, intense with an incredible stinger up front to produce a pop it’s so. Damn. Good.

I'd have to put Eddie Kingston's DMX inspired theme on that list. It's so good and so fitting for the Mad King.
I was expecting Wild Thang, Jon Moxley's entrance theme to be on the list, the crowd sings the chorus everytime he makes his entrance

I'd be remissed if I didn't say "Left Behind" (Decay's theme ) is my favorite current theme of modern wrestling. Such fitting music for someone as twisted as Rosemary.
NJPW has some friggin banger entrance themes, my favorites are Will Osprey's new theme (Bring it Down), EVILS Bullet Club theme and Taichi
There are so many great NJPW theme's especially in Bullet Club. Evil's theme. Sho's new theme 120% Voltage, Switchblade, HDBNG Club, GoD, etc.
I love the fact that the nature of this list had us pinging all over the wrestling world - particularly in the top 8, I didnt know who would be next each time, only to see who's next and go "oh yeah, silly me, that was obvious"

You forget currently most over theme because of currently most over guy in all of wrestling today, when 'Ghost Town triumph' hits people loose their mind, they know who's gonna come out.
I love Tomaso Ciampa's theme " no one will survive" by supertaker cause it makes you feel like there's going to be a fight and we will be playing for keeps and it doesn't matter how much damage is sustained by Ciampa.
I love it but it's way to repetitive gets boring quickly
What always blows my mind about Edge's theme is the section right after "You think you know me" is actually the very end of the song. Whoever made that editing call is pure genius
