If this comment gets 100k likes then Jay has to guarantee that he’ll continue to talk about not watching Breaking Bad.
Jay never watching breaking bad is a perfect example of all my friends absolutely refusing to watch anything i recommend
Its so frustrating that he seems to lump it in with game of thrones and mad men even though (imo) its leagues beyond any other teliviaion show Ive witnessed in my life. As Mike says, it perfectly represents this cycle of violence that the main character keeps falling into, each time his deeds becoming more heinous and each time saying it will be the last time he stoops that low, as everything begins to fall apart. I mean the evolution of the house even, watching it fall to disrepair is rough. It just never treads water not knowing whwre to go, its a show that 100% has a plan and you just need to trust it. (Which funnily enough isnt how they wrote it, Vince Gilligan was writing it on a by-season basis, you would have no idea if you just watched the show though)

I just finished OZARK and i have to say - 100% agree with Mike's verdict.
I agree. It doesn't wrap itself up well enough. Watching the last episode a second time, they did explain what the characters will do after, but I didn't even catch that during the first viewing. It didn't seemed like an ending to a series thing, it seemed like a planning for the next episode thing
It's a conclusion, but it's execution is questionable. They could have done so much better.
But it isn’t over is it? I thought they broke the final season into two parts.

TV show producers need to finally decide if their show is "just like a long film, whose length makes it as deep as a novel" or "going to have seasons til it runs out of money"
Honestly, they've been soap operas in disguise for over a decade now.
They usually all start as a "long movie" in the mind of their creators, with a beginning and an end.
Then if it's financially successful, the producers / network / platform tell them "we want more. We will pay this much". The creators rarely say no, because money.

I finally did watch it this winter and I have to agree with Jay in a way, there are too many Episodes for the story it tells. Like, it's an amazing show, obviously but it really draaaags at times. For some reason, David Rasche and Peter Gabriel are the same person in my head
How many likes to make them do re:View of Sledge Hammer?
It had a marvel comic too that was a fever dream too
Would love a Better Call Saul "Mike and Jay Talk About"
hopefully in part 2
jay has never watched breaking bad
damn!
27:59 - My dad made a cameo in a "Ghost Adventures" episode about HAUNTED HILL VIEW MANOR. Bilbo Baggins is up on the roof talking to the owner of HHVM and my dad is off in the distance doing yard work and walking up the steps of his house to the deck.
3:40 I love how, after a series of savage blows, Mike proceeds to daintily brush the hammer across the Vader helmet in a failed attempt to knock it off the desk.
"I'm rarely on CZcams" says Mike, a man who stars in four CZcams videos per week.
When I saw that final episode of ALF ending with a 'to be continued' as a kid back when it was first aired, I assumed it was a 2 part final episode and the next week there was soccer on TV (live in Netherlands) and I thought that was the reason they didn't air the final final ALF episode and I was pissed about that forever until there was the internet and I finally found out there never was an episode following that last episode
I remember that! I was in 8th grade. But there was an ALF TV movie in 1996 called Project ALF. It’s god awful but it does wrap things up. Plus ALF goes to a strip club!
Hi rich
LOL Life before the internet, when stuff like that happened and you would never know unless you read something about it almost by accident.
wtf, I got away from the internet for a few days and RLM have already 1/2 million views. Congratulations, you deserve more. God bless
They just brought back Yaddle Jay!!! I know you must be so excited!!
I really hope we get more Mike talking about ghost shows. Seriously. Is he like a connoisseur of ghost television? Like gimmie the Mike top ten ghost tv shows. They're hilariously bad.
It just needs to be a re:View.
I’d rather see Mike’s bottom 10 ghost shows.
He might as well I'm never watching any of them so I can enjoy them being distilled for my amusement.
@@pjcane1177 You're genuinely missing out on some amazing belly laughs. I've gotten more actual laughs by myself watching ghost adventures than I have watching any comedy film ever. No hyperbole.
Christ, Mike would probably love The Parapod.
Man, great to hear you guys enjoyed the new Kids in the Hall. My dad was the producer on it and wasn’t sure how it would do. Also, he produced Cube and I was on that set as a child and it disturbed me in the best way possible. I know you like Cube, Mike.
The first Cube is fantastic low budget Canadian horror.
Cube is fantastic. It set a high bar for me when it comes to claustrophobic scifi horror. It was so inventive with its kills and the characters were so well defined. What did you get to see on set?
@@idHeretic I was VERY young, but I remember seeing the main “cube”. They used that one set the whole movie and just changed the colour of the lights behind the walls. And I saw the full body dummy of Julian Richings, who’s the guy who gets sliced up right at the start. The dummy terrified me even though Julian was there showing me there was nothing to be afraid of hahahaha. I’ve worked with him a few times as an adult and he’s one of the nicest guys ever despite always playing creepy characters lol
@@SuplexThisBearhaha that's great. Hell of an introduction to movie magic.
Learned about Severance from this review- can’t recommend it enough! Tremendous show
Love you guys
Let there be no confusion. Nothing will quench this community's desire to see Rich and Mike torture themselves by watching new Star Wars and Star Trek content. You guys can't fool us with these catch up videos!
I've always wanted to see Mike and Jay smash a Darth Vader ornament. But I never knew that I've always wanted to see Mike and Jay smash a Darth Vader ornament until Mike and Jay smashed a Darth Vader ornament.
I mean I like watching them suffer just as much as the next guy, but I don't really care about those franchise. There are maybe a dozen RLM videos that I have never watched and all of them are about the Stars, Trek or Wars. (Mainly because I've never seen a single episode or movie of ST, and not a single episode and "only" 7/11 movies of SW stuff)
I, for one, am sick of the Star Trek and Star Wars stuff. There's nothing left to be said, the franchises are ruined and anything coming out related to them is a sad plastic imitation. With regular movie and show reviews on the other hand, there's a chance of finding something actually good out there - or avoiding something terrible.
@@WokeBegone copying and pasting this to half the comments of this video just makes you look really sad, my dude
@@odkres the irony is those are the videos that lead to their channel blowing up. But honestly, if you've never watched those movies you're not gonna enjoy their deep dives into them so you've made the correct choice.
I can't wait for you guys to review Slippin' Jimmy. A children's cartoon spin-off of Better Call Saul.
What???
Gotta love a half in the bag episode that starts with one of Mike’s angry senior citizen moments!!👌
The best under the radar show at the moment is definitely Patriot.
Ozarks just brought memories of Previously Recorded of Rich and Jack playing the Order 1886 and it ends with Gunshot Fade to Black.
Gunshot fade to black? GUNSHOT FADE TO BLACK???
One of the highlights of Pre-Rec, and one of Rich's best ever OMGs.
