Nike presents the MVPs (Most Valuable Puppets). The roommate puppet versions of LeBron James and Kobe Bryant get competitive in this campaign for the NBA Playoffs.
Yeah, Kobe has done more... its amazing what 7 years and being traded to a championship level team can do for a player. Oneal did need Kobe, but it was a win win for both and they created one of the most fierce guard, big man combos in NBA history. They owe a lot to each other for those three rings. MJ played for like 7 or 8 years w/o ever winning a ring... the second year they have Phil Jackson they win. Phil is a great coach... better than any coach James has ever had.
if you hadnt noticed the blue/orange bird look at the big boombox too...just like the one radio raheem had in do the right thing which took place in NY lol
Carlos performed some underhanded garbage. He lied to the Cavs and said he would resign so they would let him out of his contract, but he ended going to the Jazz since they offered more. Lebron is a legit free agent in 2010, no lying or deception... he will either leave or stay... not at all like Boozer... more like Shaq when he left Orlando.
My point was simple. Losing a role player does not mean sudden death for a championship caliber team. I'm not buying into the loss of Posey was the death of the Celtics this year. It hurt, but with a healthy KG they would have most likely went further. KG is a difference maker. And as for Mo Williams... Were we watching the same games? The man choked in the conference finals. He shot like 40% from the field. He missed a lot of open shots that could have gotten the Cavs over the hump.
Okay... while you do have some points... let me remind you that Amare missed like 30 games, and they had coaching and chemistry problems. The Suns did not miss the playoffs due to the toughness of the West, but because they had some bad luck. Maybe saying they would be a playoff team might be a stretch, but The Grizz used to make to the playoffs with Gasol back in the day, and the West was tougher back then. After the top 9 teams the west drops off tremendously in terms of good teams.
I can't recall but it was either the Magic or the Nuggets that had a player that was on drugs. If it were the Magics then surely they will not make it to this Finals again.
Its really not as much as you think. Most top teams have two max contracts( LA, and Boston) and some solid role players on the payroll. It will take away from the bench, but things can be worked out. Thats Donnie's plan. It probably will end up leaving Duhon, Harrington, and possibly David Lee and Nate out in the cold... but with a few smart moves the Knicks could keep two, maybe more, of those guys.
Possibly, he'll go to NY next year. Then again, people are saying that the only reason Detroit gave up so many great players is to free up cap room to get LeBron so that might be an option.
I'm loving this debate... and I love how people throw numbers out there, but they never throw the RIGHT numbers. Yeah, mo might have point up points, but he shot terribly... he shot like 38% from the field during the series.... like 33% in the first four games ( yes that includes your 17 and 20 numbers)... Maybe Orlando was the better team... Orlando was during the reg. season... but this is the playoffs, anything can happen. The cavs could have won, if Mo shot better.
o i hope cleveland wins 2010. we've never won the finals b4, and that would be awesome. besides, this year we hav shaq, but hes getting old. The Cavs' practice center is actually about 2 miles away from my house.
You're exactly right. It's a shame Eddy Curry and Jared Jeffries is taking so much space body/money wise on the Knicks. And Isiah is an asshole for thinking that we would be great by 2010 and trading that pick in the Marbury deal. I don't know what he was thinking. Isiah is just the gift that just keeps giving, unless of course you're the Knicks. Isiah helped the Suns/Bulls/Jazz (2010 pick) get better, but forgot about his own Knicks squad. Thank God for Donnie Walsh.
And Kobe lost two years in a row to the Suns in the first roundafter Shaq bolted. Hell they lost a 3-1 lead in one of those series. It was not until they made a trade for Gasol that the Lakers even looked like they could make a serious run at the title. Lebron will be fine whenever he finds the right supporting cast, just like every other superstar that won the ring. Where, and if, he finds that cast is up in the air.
I thought this was common knowledge. The Cavs can afford to pay LeBron the most come 2010. They can pay him 15 million more a year than any other team in the league, the way the rosters are right now. Only reason LeBron will leave Cleveland for New York is the market size.
Well Boozer is not a FA in 2010, he is one this year... unless he does not opt out... but he does not seem to be the loyal type. I doubt the Cavs would want him anyway. 2004 offseason still lingers in the air. I get your point. The Cavs have options. It really all comes down to Lebron. I'm sure given the right tools he could win in Cleveland, but if he wants to move on he could do that too... If its all about money, he is gone... if its about winning, he might stay.
Word is The Suns want more than Contracts in return... they want some players that can contribute... So he might not be going to Cleveland. Even if Shaq did come, the Cavs would still have major issues. Shaq could help them get over a hump, or two... but in reality they need to be creating a dynasty... a team that can win for years and years to come... Adding Shaq will only get them though one year... maybe two. They need more than an aging Shaq to become a dynasty.
Cleveland just has enough money to sign LeBron to a max contract. How about anyone else? If LeBron stays put then he needs to be surrounded by dependable, and perhaps actual All-Stars just to win a ring.
Nah, that's talking about his free agency after next season. If they don't win next season I think he's gone. Cleveland is trying to get Chris Bosh, I mean don't get me wrong Bosh is a good player, but he is not all they need. They need another player that can score off the dribble. He needs a real side kick, Mo Williams didn't come through in the clutch at all.
this is the best one ever! ""yeah common 2010"!
Phil is a great coach... better than any coach James has ever had.
haha 2010 is when he becomes a free agent. :D hahaha.
"2010, yeah that's right" Heck yeah it's right! :D
classic! hopefully in NYC baby!!
Lol nice. When he says 2010 the "Knicks bird" flies away. Lol

Thats is pretty bold.
i thought i was the only one who noticed that in the beginning...dam nike took it there lmao
Good Call
That's funny my friend built that little weight bench for the commercial.
"you do realize Lebron plays in Cleveland right? and you call NYC an ugly ass city?"
Thats so funny, and so true.
He did 2010 weight-lifts... all for his next season.
the question is....."Have you seen my 4 championship rings?"
the bird is orange and blue...hes goin to the knicks
lol u see whats in the background at the end
ABS-CBN 2, TV5, GMA 7 "2013"
if you hadnt noticed the blue/orange bird look at the big boombox too...just like the one radio raheem had in do the right thing which took place in NY lol
Surpirsed he doesn't stress "2007", since that was his best shot at a title vs. the aging Spurs. That was a missed oppurtunity.
well he isnt gonna do it alone. we all saw it when orlando beat them last year. thats why cleveland brought in shaq because of dwight howard
shaq is not going to the cavs!
he even said it on his TWITTER
hahahah
2010 NY KNICKS the legend begins!!
not happening
It's a sign Lebron is going to pull a Carlos Boozer on Cleveland and go to NY.
hellz yea kobe vs dwyane now thats the real matchup!!!
Look at the big 24 behind him. You know damn well he's not going to lose championships anytime soon.
those are all the years he hasn't won a championship ring
Because they share the same apartment.
"not 2011, not 2012, not 2013..."
Anyone notice the bird was Blue and Orange? And he stopped at 2010....Hes going to the Knicks and he knows it
2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020
People notice the blue and orange birdie waiting outside the window, see what LeBron will do?
Carlos performed some underhanded garbage. He lied to the Cavs and said he would resign so they would let him out of his contract, but he ended going to the Jazz since they offered more.
Lebron is a legit free agent in 2010, no lying or deception... he will either leave or stay... not at all like Boozer... more like Shaq when he left Orlando.
celtics vs lakers is how its going down
yea 2010!!!!
wow 2010 great great great marketing by nike
u see the blue and orange biird ahahhaha. damn this is intriguing
He is. Kenan is Lebron. David Alan Grier is Kobe.
He missed a lot of open shots that could have gotten the Cavs over the hump.
is there goin to be a Wade and Bosh puppet added in this commercials since Lebrick cant win a championship on his own.

Okay... while you do have some points... let me remind you that Amare missed like 30 games, and they had coaching and chemistry problems. The Suns did not miss the playoffs due to the toughness of the West, but because they had some bad luck.

Wow you be slackin still got 6 more
Mine as well get that 2011th rep in...
CAUSE THE LAKESHOW OWN THAT LARRY O BRIAN SON!
I think it was supposed to be more representing LeBron telling himself that it'll finally happen in 2010.
IT MAKES SENSE , derrick rose , good bench good team in general , but after the dance antics i doubt it
i hope LeBron moves from his team to a new one.
Yeah they will because now they have Vince and Dwight. Are team is now fully loaded.
So that's what LeBron's been doing while Kobe's in the Finals.
I can't recall but it was either the Magic or the Nuggets that had a player that was on drugs. If it were the Magics then surely they will not make it to this Finals again.
does anyone know who does the voices?
yeah that's right !!! 2010 baby man k they should get lebron and bosh in newyork and wade and kobe and howard
what happened today! a beat down thats what!
Its really not as much as you think. Most top teams have two max contracts( LA, and Boston) and some solid role players on the payroll. It will take away from the bench, but things can be worked out.

this comercial represents lebron as a puppet to the nba...LOL
lebron:2003,2004,2005,2006,2007,2008,2009,2010,2011,2012,
never,2012 is the end of the world
Lebron might want to go ahead and just get started on 2012 now.
What Kobe should to say on that : 2000,2001,2002,2009,2010............
Cause I got nothing else better to do at the moment.
lol there a big number 24 in the back sooo he's going to watch Kobe again with lil dez in 2010 hahahaahah lol
yea but thats wat everybody said about artest when we played kobe in the second round no1 thot he would go to the lakers but he is
Possibly, he'll go to NY next year. Then again, people are saying that the only reason Detroit gave up so many great players is to free up cap room to get LeBron so that might be an option.
it didn´t went that way but it would have been interesting
I'm loving this debate... and I love how people throw numbers out there, but they never throw the RIGHT numbers. 2010 baby!!! Cavs are gonna win the championship, we got shaq now to!!
o i hope cleveland wins 2010. we've never won the finals b4, and that would be awesome. besides, this year we hav shaq, but hes getting old. The Cavs' practice center is actually about 2 miles away from my house.

Lebron will be fine whenever he finds the right supporting cast, just like every other superstar that won the ring. Where, and if, he finds that cast is up in the air.
the cavs should get steph curry, and shaq as a quick fix
@errybodyknowme WOW! ur right the birds ARE blue and orange.... hahahaha
I thought this was common knowledge.
The Cavs can afford to pay LeBron the most come 2010. They can pay him 15 million more a year than any other team in the league, the way the rosters are right now.

more like 2020
Well Boozer is not a FA in 2010, he is one this year... unless he does not opt out... but he does not seem to be the loyal type. I doubt the Cavs would want him anyway. 2004 offseason still lingers in the air.

Heat 2012
lmao
Nah, clearly talking about his free agency.
Or it could mean the old Cavaliers colors of the 80's. Hmmmmm
lebron dominates kobe...kobe is like magic while lebron is like michael jordan
Holy Crap, that's subliminal messaging right there, da bird has the kincks colors!
nah my Rockets gona have a say in that
meh, you'll need shaq plus one more piece (turkoglu perhaps?), tho cavs have very little cap room to work with
Not 1..Not 2..Not 3... Not 5.. Oh my bad. I didn't go to college.
Comments here are from a ringless Lebron era
i dont get this one
Cleveland just has enough money to sign LeBron to a max contract. How about anyone else? If LeBron stays put then he needs to be surrounded by dependable, and perhaps actual All-Stars just to win a ring.
They made it to the finals 2 years ago, but if Lebron doesn't think he can win a title with the Cavs then I agree I think he leaves C-town.
subliminal messages.
No way, I agree wit you.....those who don't believe, they will NEXT YEAR!!!!!!!!
@Realkill010 yea but u cant see nuthin but kobes number at the last shot, even though lebrons was to the right
I don't know... a more developed Beasley and some decent free agents, or trades.. they could be in there.... Not betting on it, but you never know.
well see you in the finals cavaliers
@Kobegrl24 yeah maybe... but i doubt it
we still have odom and we have artest (better defender and 3 pt shooter)
@StFuMoThErFuCkEr not only did they not win they aren't even contenders with the team they have now
@NBAZera
lebron just need Big Z back and 1 player that could play in SG position and they would vin the finals :P
why is everybody writing paragraps about this video lol
Nah, that's talking about his free agency after next season. If they don't win next season I think he's gone. Cleveland is trying to get Chris Bosh, I mean don't get me wrong Bosh is a good player, but he is not all they need. They need another player that can score off the dribble. He needs a real side kick, Mo Williams didn't come through in the clutch at all.
just give him time
When Kobe retires lebron would already have 6 rings with Miami
