SHRIMP:
1 pound colossal shrimp
Old Bay Seasoning to taste
garlic powder to taste
1.5 cups butter milk
2 eggs
50 crushed butter crackers
1 cup all purpose flour
cooking oil for deep frying
CRAB BALLS:
1 pound jumbo lump crabmeat
1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
1 egg
1 tbs yellow mustard (or dijion)
1/3 cup may (if to dry add extra to add up to 1/2 cup)
16-18 crushed butter crackers
juice from 1/2 lemon (small/med)
cooking oil for deep frying
LOADED POTATOES:
4 small red potatoes
2 tbs butter
shredded cheese
cooked bacon chopped
green onion
salt and pepper to taste
top with sour cream
TARTAR SAUCE:
1.5 cups mayo
1/2 cup sour cream (optional can substitute with 1/2 cup mayo)
1/3 cup diced onion
1/2 cup pickled relish
juice from 1/2 lemon (small/med)

There's a lady with a podcast (called Learn True Health) who completely reversed her PCOS and Type 2 diabetes by changing her diet to a whole foods diet and no drugs. Now she has a healthy baby boy. She realized diet affects your hormones, which ultimately causes inflammation and disease. She interviews a lot of people on her show who have done the same. Very inspiring and eye-opening. just saying I hope so too. I recently had some health issues and once I eliminated a lot of processed foods, a lot of my issues cleared up.
Lisa Irby Tia Mowry did this to conceive as well. I always wondered why she went through the process of becoming vegan, and then went back to eating meat. I saw her in an interview saying that plant based eating played a major role in her being able to have her son. There’s a lot more to this diet thing than we were previously lead to believe, but thankfully there are so many platforms now, for people to inform others and share their journeys.

Miriam, I had my son when I was 1 month shy of my 40th birthday. I am a single mom, I prayed for God to allow me to have a baby and I got pregnant. My biggest gift from my heavenly father and I love that child with every beat of my heart. All that being said, you are right, being a mom isn't for everyone but if you choose to have a baby even when your 50 (Halle berry and Janet Jackson both did it) that child will be the luckiest baby on earth. Whether you have children or not Miriam, you are a beautiful and very special lady and you have touched many people with your lovely ways. You are much loved and appreciated my dear. :)

I love that you are open about having PCOS and that you took the time to explain it.
I have it as well and it sucks but I try to not let it get to me. I have days when I feel like my body hates me. I have the skin changes and I have excessive hair growth. I learned that i had PCOS when i was 22 (I’ll be 30 in two months) because i had gone a year and three months without a cycle but would have severe pain for a couple weeks out of the month. Thank God I finally found a doctor who listened to me and helped.
