Gloves Off: Canelo vs. Munguia, narrated by Barry Pepper, premieres on Prime Video today, and takes fans far beyond the ring. Why Canelo fight against Munguia and not against Benavidez?
Becuz two fighters are not being a weight bully on the night
Because he’s past his prime and has been showing signs of it in his last few fights, plus he’s had surgeries on his knee, wrist, etc. This will also be his 65th fight, and he knows David is bigger, younger, and can knock him out. So why fight him? When he can fight guys like this and still make some millions and reduce the risk of a knock out defeat? I hope it happens but Canelo doesn’t seem interested at all.

Benavides is running to 175lbs weight division to avoid fighting David Morell. Benavides was supposed to fight David Morell last November and instead he fought 35 yr old rusty Andrade. Andrade was unemployed for 2 years. 😂
