Matt made absolutely shure to drive it like a rental 😂😂
These renters better hope the rental company does not see this video.
This is why you never want to buy a rental car.
So true, but he has a habitually heavy gas foot, rental or else
@@Grokrootyou could buy one if all you want is a car to take down the trail
Matt was definitely enjoying himself in that poor Charger!
Many years ago I was thinking of buying a used rental car. A wise person told me "nothing improves the off-road ability of a car as much as a rental conract in the glove compartment."
Yup people just don’t care about things that are there’s I learned that when I let my friend drive my car and he hit a driveway entrance at 15mph and scrapped the entire bottom of the front 😂😂
Better be careful with that attitude. Many states have instituted laws that allow rental companies to charge you for non use days for the rental and unless you get an actual document from them stating there was no damage at the time of return, not just the invoice they give you, you have no way of fighting it. Speaking from experience here.
As a former employee of Avis Rent-a-Car, I can attest this statement is 100% true!
That's a pretty thick Southern Texas accent if I've ever heard one
I bought what I later came to suspect was a rental car prior to my buying it (2016 GMC Terrain bought in 2016 with about 18k miles on it). It actually lasted until I traded it for my jeep like 100k miles later. It's not always bad.
Matt is pulling some real Stroker Ace moves. “Take a dirt road curve with the devils nerve, make a car dance across the mud”
Jaime is a saint. I would have climbed out of the Dodge and told Matt to drive it himself. Lol
Watching Matt just skinny pedal through the mud in a charger is very entertaining
Gotta love the skinny pedal 😂
Colin comes across really well on camera, he’s a confident presenter
The Duke boys would be proud of your driving of the Charger.
As a Charger owner, I never thought of off-roading it, but Matt made it look so easy.
Looked like it has some kind of limited slip diff, so keep the speed up and dont let it belly out and youll be fine😂
how does it feel driving that over priced pos
Our son with Down Syndrome loves watching your recovery videos!
Jamie, I don't think you give yourself enough credit, You handled the charger like a pro!
@@mrwinston_thepug 😂
@@mrwinston_thepug Pretty good rookie, at least.
@@mrwinston_thepug I observed my wife and must say that women are less confident when with their men. It usually makes them think about "what he is going to say". Plus everybody turns down thinking when somebody else is supposed to guide them like in the situation. IMHO she is pretty good either way
Agreed!!
Think everyone soaks in Matts towing prowess
Collin seems to be a Great Kid, Truly a fighter love to see him in the Videos
Enjoyable - “Matts” off road recovery - not the idiots that have been around in the past, what a pleasant change.
It takes a very patient person to be able to work with their spouse. You guys do great.
Some days I can barely go shopping with my wife. With out one of us getting upset.
That is the understatement of the year.
My wife is so scared of messing up that she will freeze instead of doing what she knows to do.
It takes patience to build confidence.
Matt did good by being patient with the "wrong" reaction.
Can completely relate.
"On a scale of 1 to 10 what number would you rate your shopping trip today to Costco with your wife" 🤣🤣🤣 was a video that my wife showed me the other night.
Man, almost all the guys said 1 or 0 and a few smartly said "pfft.... I'm not gonna answer that" 😆
I just looked at her and my expression was "exactly what they said"
The Australian couple seemed like nice people, and they were so close to being able to do that trail I can absolutely believe they drove in when it was dry and then got stranded once it was wet.
Yeah, once that clay gets wet it's like grease.
@@grimsoul0 When it's dry it's like concrete. When it's wet it's like grease.
I think they were from New Zealand, something about the accent just didn't sound quite Australian to me. But totally agreed, it was totally the rain that made it so they couldn't get out!
Edit: consensus is, they're Aussies!
@Kitteh.B Definitely Auzzies
They were obviously Texan ;)
Collin I hope you continue to heal and get better soon. We will be praying for you.
Matt & Jaymie's kids are soooo likeable! Great family!
Best line I’ve heard in a while from you guys if you ever go on a off-road adventure get a Jeep. Hope your leg is getting better man Jeep on!!
Good job Collin , wishing you all the best with your leg.
Other comment: To defog a window you need fresh air circulation. Just blowing warm air on it increases the moisture in the air. Crack the windows a bit, let the warmer, wetter air out of the vehicle.
Warm air does help defog the window as warmer air is able to contain more moisture without condensation. It’s science, and not the fake science that the media and government has been perpetuating for the last few years
Matt ,you got the bestest
co-pilot/weather girl ever.
I can't imagine how good it must feel to be a Parent watching your Child getting strong after major surgery. 😊
Y'all save so many chargers I thought I was rewatching an old episode till I saw the clip of the Porsche!
Matt, I've NEVER seen you lose it w/your crew, EVER. You Sir, were downright HYSTERICAL while Miss Jamie was drivin this white Dodge job.
I remember in the beginning of MORR. Matt was extremely anti winch. Could you imagine life with out one now?
AHAHAH 8:21 i love the sheer difference in force used from when you got there to now 😂 matt got in and said “honey hold my beer”
The van folks were wonderful people. Matt created friends with all his customers because he is genuinely helpful. They sound South African. Great video, great wife and family, just what America is made of.

Your doing awesome Collin. Your out there smiling and putting one foot infront of the other, and moving on with life. Which is easier said than done. Plus great camera work.
What happened to him
@@Jarvitalize He had surgery on his leg. To extend the bone I believe. As he had been hit by a vehicle many years back, badly fracturing the bone (iirc).
The Duke boys and Jamie and Matt taking a dodge challenger off roading…love it!! I was sad you did not jump it…😂😂😂
for matts son. sorry to forget your name, but your attitude towards life seems positive, and it influences people. like today. your casual comment about being where you are and the light rain being awesome, helped my day. thanks man
Hi Colin. I feel for you with the "Crutches" ☹ I was on crutches for over three years, so I definitely know what it's like 😢
It looks like you are well on the way to recovery ("recovery", pun intended). Just remember not to push yourself too far, too fast. Let the injury heal itself in it's own time. Slow and steady wins the race.
Good luck too you all.
@@PadmeAmidalaN lol, you must be related, about the 5th correction!
You could say "yeah, ain't that kid great! BTW it's spelled ...."
Great job on both recoveries. Special kudos to Jayme for not only being a great driver but being a contortionist as well. Good to see Kaulin up and around and getting some great shots too!!
Great seeing Collin back on his feet building those muscles up in his leg and he looks like he’s doing really great with his comeback!!!!
Good MORRning guys!

Jaymie and Kaulin did great,
Tell them and they forget, teach them and they remember, involve them and they learn. Matt sir, you are also an educator.
I love the attitude that Jake has - he's just happy to be there 😃
Great to see Australia represented. Old mate did a stellar job, getting in and having a crack! Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi🎉
I was like, why does this guy sound so normal? 😂
Accent: Either Australian or New Zealand. Nice rescue. You guys make it look so easy.
They should make it mandatory that before you can rent a vehicle and take it to Utah you have to watch at least 10 of Matt’s recoveries . This way you will see what you shouldn’t do . Thanks for sharing .
Heck, I’m tempted to fly to Utah and rent a Charger with full additional insurance and take it down that sand chute just to see if Matt can get it out! 😂
I recently took a trip out there. While I would have loved to meet Matt and his crew, the entire time I was driving around I was thinking about not driving anywhere where Matt would have to come and get us.
@@stephen3164 great idea, you would get a T shirt and we would have some interesting content :-)

Colin is a trooper. Kept the camera steady
Great to see Collin out and about. Very proud of you, Collin.
I'm curious to know what happened. He was suddenly in a video at a hospital having surgery, I think I recall.
@@slugger449one leg was injured very badly when he was young (like, he almost lost the whole leg) and he’s had several surgeries over the years, if I recall correctly. I’m trying to remember if they said this was the last one he’ll need, or not.
If you look back through the videos to a couple months ago, there were a couple videos from when Kaulin had this surgery that they explained some of it.
@@PadmeAmidalaNPoor guy will be correcting people, having his name misspelled, and dealing with administrative errors his whole life. But hey, it’s unique.
Jaime definitely needs to give herself more credit I am impressed with how well she is doing.
Since Lizzy left Jamie has really stepped up.
I love the family environment u guys have.
Colin I hope ur leg gets better soon.
People need to realize that if you go off road you need a jeep not a van or sports car
Tbh not sure you can call a v6 charger a sports car. 😂
Wait, Lizzy left? Must have missed that episode
I was just gonna say I haven’t seen her in a while. I thought she might’ve gone back to school for welding or something but yeah, if anyone knows what happened to her I wouldn’t mind knowing.

The Morrvair continues to be amazing, especially considering all the stuff it has had to face on a weekly basis! Keep on trucking!
Jaime did awesome - her natural talent and Matt's kinder and gentler approach did the trick, everyone knows Matt is a softie underneath the gruff exterior. Y'all got em out!
HEY! Good morning to Matt and crew! I am looking forward to the Sand Chute challenge with Rory, Paul and Casey Ladelle! Lets do it!👍👊👊
Yes!
ME TOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Sand chute challenge!!!🎉

@@delbutler885 Yes!
Jaime, you're doing great. It's not wrong, it's different driving styles and different skills. Colin, it's good to see you back out and healing up!
Kaulin, it's great to see you getting out on some recoveries, and I'm glad your leg is improving. Your camera work was fine, and you always bring a good vibe to whatever videos you're in. 👍
I'd totally love to watch Rory, Paul, & Casey prove their tow vehicles can conquer the Sand Chute. And I'd enjoy seeing the Bombi traverse it up & down--but only if that's safe to do. There's no need to damage the vehicle or hurt someone just for entertainment's sake. Given you've designed the Bombi for cold weather operation in snow (not sand or dust), it might not be wise to take it out in that hot & dusty & gritty environment. But if you do, I'll be watching! Thanks for sharing all you do, and thanks ESPECIALLY for always having a positive can-do attitude with a sunny disposition. Keeping the conversations & backgrounds in your videos clean & family-friendly, and leaving politics & religion of of it all, means I can recommend your channel to ALL my friends!
Hey Matt to fully disable the traction control on Dodge vehicles hold the tc off button while starting the vehicle. Hitting the button after the vehicle is started only mostly disables it.
really eh
Whats funny is how slick that mud was, and even with STREET tires, that Charger wanted to go. If that car had a decent set of diggers on it, rather than fine tread road tires, it may have done really well to be a car. And that Sprinter Van, im always IMPRESSED to see some of the places people manage to take them. It just blows me away.
That's those people that make straight A's, and don't have a lick of common sense.
Matt, there is a recovery point on RAM Promasters in the bumper right above where you attached the soft shackle to the right front suspension. There is an eye bolt in the tool kit under the passenger seat, pop the 2x2 plastic cover out of the bumper and thread in the eye bolt. Keeps you out of the mud (as much). I'm an Amazon delivery service partner with 50 vans in my fleet...ask me how I know... :)
It’s a rental, don’t be gentle!
Matt, your patience is one of your best qualities! Not easy in situations like these.
It's hard to describe how much gas to give it in the mud because you have to feel it when the tires are just on the edge of losing traction completely. Jamie did a great job. Kaulin got some great footage he's developing a good eye for cinematography.
Wow, Colin has changed so much. His attitude is just amazing. I wish i could be a bit more positive and composed, like him. Hang in there, you won't remember crutches in no time.
And good job with the recoveries, as usual. Just a good video to end Friday evening.
Miss Jamie, y'all are killing it. No fear just skill. Keep it up dear, you're making a good sidekick!
Desert is SO BEAUTIFUL with the rain‼️
Good to see Kaulin moving around without crutches. Great recoveries. After a couple of years of watching, I'm still impressed with Matt's off-road driving skills.
Is it Kaulin or Colin? I’m not sure if it’s the way they pronounce it.
I want to say they've spelled it in a video or the comments before. It's Kaulin. If I'm wrong, Matt and crew will probably correct me...
And it's definitely good to see a lack of crutches. Worry about the hobbling later; the important part is to not overdo it too early.
@@sjv6598 It's Kaulin (quoting their facebook page)
I can't help but laugh every time I read kaulin, that's finnish for a rolling pin.
That boy is tough. Great to see a family with kids heavily involved in family business. They’re proof not all kids are glued to an iPad on a couch these days.
Jaymie, Matt and Colin to the rescue of these vehicles and places they shouldn't have been, but if you don't know this is what happens. Jaymie is really learning the ropes on these recovery's. That was funny when Jaymie asked Matt "why is there a rake in the Morrvair"?
Jaime did very well! And Matt, wow you got to a pretty high pitch in your voice there my brother! Great team as always !
We’ll done Kaulin! I’m sitting here watching having just had a total knee replacement this morning! Keep healing!!!
Matt and the MORR team; y'all are amazing American ambassadors for our visitors from outside "the lower 48". The State Dept should be paying y'all
7:44 Turn, turn, Stop🎶 Seems Matt is a man of many talents😎😂
The fact that he patiently teaches his wife to ensure that when he sends her out to do recoveries it will be done properly, allowing him to tackle the heavier challenges with the World's Largest Off-road Wrecker!
Your manner as presented on camera was kind, patient, and professional. All three of you looked good out there.
You also seem tired. I've been that wore out. 80-90 hour weeks. Make sure you recharge man. You've been through the wringer.
Jamie did great! Matt, you have to remember, she’s not in your head yet, like Lizzy was… Lizzy did the same kind of things in the beginning before she knew what the car is going to do in those situations. Big learning curve for her today! She’s Amazing to me! Just the fact that she’s gettin out there, be grateful Matt!! Great video as usual! 👌👍❤️🤩
When you're responsible for a very expensive vehicle (and the safety of everyone involved), you need to do the style that you need to do. You're not there for fun, it's work. I think your style is fine.
Jamie your driving is extremely good and improves with experience, don't be selling yourself short. ; Matt your ability to visualize what needs to be done and how to do it is outstanding! I really appreciate that when things start going south there is a moment perhaps of anx (sp?)when Voices rise in pitch and volume. The driver has to appreciate the pressures of the moment. You might need to work on that Matt but I don't think you are going to be able to change it LOL. I'm always amazed at how calm you always remain. Your leadership skills are excellent.
Watching you and your crews problem solve, and work together is I think one of the things that keeps me watching your on going episodes and adventures. Thanks one and all for many hours of great entertainment.
*angst maybe, or anxiety.
Matt, fine job as always.
Jamie, you’re doing well. Keep up the good work.
Collin, you’re a trooper. I hope you recover fully and quickly.
There is nothing nicer than the smell of sagebrush in a desert rainstorm! Beautiful country!
You're doing pretty well at telling your crew what you want them to do - now you need to add WHY you want them to do something a certain way. That way if it starts going sideways, they can try to adjust on the fly without you having to tell them how to adapt. That's the critical component you're missing, like when Jamie kicked the back out at around 8 minutes and you had to tell her to stop trying to steer towards the bush, because what you actually wanted her to do when you said to aim for the bush was to keep the car going straight and not slipping sideways. If she'd understood what you were trying to get her to do, she probably would have been able to do it - but she didn't because you didn't tell her why she was aiming for that bush. Just my 2 cents
Excellent point
Jamie you did great. Don’t second guess yourself. Great to see Colin is recovering well and out and about with you guys again.
Where is your truck?KAULINS TRUCK that Rudy bought for him.

My job involves placement and management of mobile trailers to provide wireless network coverage for a mine and on a daily basis one or more of our 60 trailers need to be relocated, one of my biggest struggles is communicating my thoughts on where I want them to my technicians and I too am working on my patience! You are doing better Matt
Matt, I think along with detailed instructions, you could end your them with a snip it of the big picture. Instead of “you don’t want your passenger front tire any further over then here” maybe something like “no further than here, because you’ll get into that deep rut and bottom out if you go too far”. I struggle with giving instructions too, it’s an art for sure.
I took my '87 Toyota Ext Cab 2WD truck up to Yankee Boy Basin in '94. Folks were sure surprised to see it up there.😂😂😂
I've never seen you guys ever lose it.
More patient than I am.when getting stuck
You are doing great giving driving instructions to the crew Matt! We all love your style! ❤
Matt coaching his team driving techniques in adverse conditions: What I learned as a soccer coach for 4th and 5th graders in a small AZ town is patience. They see things from their perspective and a coach has to remember they see a larger picture which is not what the student sees. Repetitive, patience, and simple (without talking down to them) and precise reasoning allow the student to absorb the lesson. Matt has done this so many times I am surprised he reached out to the viewers on this. Beautiful scenery and well done. Thanks for sharing.
Matt ........I love how your voice gets higher trying to tell Jamie how to drive this car out!! .......She's the best!
Jamie is a pro. Matt explained better than usual, but she killed it!
