Great video! I'm a UK/US dual national who is planning on retiring in 2026 and becoming a "slow traveler", spending no more than 6 months in one place. I haven't decided which countries I shall visit except that I'll definitely start off in Argentina. I've never been to Thailand but spent two weeks in Vietnam in 2013 and loved it. I can't see myself spending a month on a cruise ship.

$699 for 27 nights on a cruise. I've always thought they would be much more expensive. Wow, that is amazing. I think I spent well over $1000 for a week in Cancun and that was in 1991.

They usually are, but you can always find a cheap one if you look for it.

Thank you, this is great information. As a solo traveler and new retiree, I have been looking for ways to increase my travel time as well as exploring ways to become more of a nomad living my bucket list.

I recently discovered your travel channel and have found your Amtrak videos extremely useful as I’m planning a short Amtrak/Motorcycle holiday next year in the US when I semi retire - thank you. One question that kept popping up in my mind when watching was “how are they practically doing this” so also really appreciate your explanations of how your travel life works. I live in the UK and a prerequisite for having things like a credit card, investments, bank accounts, insurance, tax affairs etc. is a permanent address. I just wondered how you guys get around that problem? Another point I wondered about is taxation. I’m assuming your life is very tax efficient as you won’t be taxed in any of the countries you temporarily stay in? But do you still have to pay Uncle Sam? Thanks again and all best wishes to you for happy and safe travels😀

In the US many people that travel full time use a mail service. US residents usually need to pay US Federal and State Taxes. As a side note, many people move to Florida beforehand as they have no state tax. Enjoy your travels in the US!

Hi are you both retired? How you both can afford to be a full time traveler? Or is job one that you do it where ever you go? I will retire in 3yrs. So i would not mind traveling on the amtrak. We don't like flying. Thanks for the information pam&gus

Travel can be cheaper than staying in one spot if you do it correctly. That is what we aim to teach on this channel.
