Thank you! I just started growing out my bangs. They aren't near as long as yours, maybe halfway across my eyes and I was able to pull this off. Took 3 attempts to get my hands to do what I needed them to.

Thanks thanks thanks! I tired unsuccessfully to braid my bangs the other day! I can French braid, I just couldn't do my own! I have a disease that destroyed my spine all the way to C1. Now my head is fused into a prayer like position. It's hard to wear my hair down. I wanted to wear it down, but couldn't because it all falls into my face! I used to wear wigs because I lost almost all of my hair. While it was growing out, the 30 or 40% I didn't lose grew to about 12 or 13 inches long, so it's a nice shoulder length! I also lost almost 200lbs, so after almost 3 years I went to the salon and got me hair colored. It's beautiful and I want to wear it down!! Now I can! Thanks!! I can't wait to try this!!! My braid failed miserably! My hair is really fine, I hope it works! There is always the magic of hairspray!! It takes slippery hair and changes the world! Lol
I wonder if, while do that, you did the fishtail thing and deposited a small strand of hair into the other section? Have you tried that? Fishtail braid is the easiest braid on the planet!

This only works if you have thick beautiful hair. If you have thin, fine hair you are SOL!! Nobody can help if have thin hair that falls out by the handful.
