    Learn how to play Twice as Hard, as performed by The Black Crowes released on their 1990 debut album "Shake Your Money Maker". An awesome rock band that came on the scene that was shifting away from heavy production/hair/makeup bands to getting back to straight RAWWWK! I was SO happy when this album came out, and along with their second album are definitely up there in may "all time" list.
    The lesson covers the rhythm and lead guitar parts played by Rich Robinson (Open G) and (I believe) Jeff Cease playing the lead. I do his parts in standard tuning.

    Hi Doug.
    Thanks for another gem!
    My introduction to The Black Crowes, was a CD from their live performance at the Greek with Jimmy Page back in 1999 - and instantly I became a fan.
    Just like you, we all needed something new and - Oh boy. ☮️❤️🎸

    The solo was most likely played by Brendan O'Brien.

      @@12footchain I wasn't aware of this until recently either. Brendan had/has considerable chops and Jeff Cease was a fledgling lead player at that point (and was replaced not long afterward by Marc Ford).

    • @aronbaumel
      @aronbaumel Před měsícem

      Brendan only played the solo on Hard to Handle and only because it was done in La when they were finishing the record and Jeff was in Atlanta. Everything else is Rich and Jeff.
