Emailed him for a watch- was really blunt in his response.- not as energetic and friendly as he comes across on CZcams. I was sceptical about trusting him before, but definitely wouldn't be giving thousands of pounds to someone who doesn't engage properly with potential clients.
Agreed đđœ
Counting the days when itâs game over for flippers now that some AD are buying pre owned
Did you leave your cap on while they cut it đ
Love the channel đ
Mate your not a watch dealer give it a rest
đ€Łđ€Ł
It's amazing that you can own all these amazing time pieces given your young age. (I think) Most people would have to wait years to get their hands on an AP, Rolex or Patek Phillipe. đ
You need to be carful âŠ.youâre openly saying that you travel daily with expensive watches around London!!
He has been warned so many times before but just doesnât seem to (want to) listen. Such a massive risk being a travelling watch dealer with stock in his backpack
@@audemarspiguet4237 he might not have a choice. That said donât go telling the internet about it⊠maybe he thinks it wonât happen to him!!
I doubt anyone would mug him for that hideous Patek
@@santorini8423 unless it's Nicole and she wants her knickers back
@@MrNoBody_b Not going to get mugged for fakes.
Respect the come up
Iâd put a cap on that new hair cut too! đđđ€
Great edit Phil. Ignore the flakes and haters
I don't know why there's a lot of hate in the comments. You don't start a business with millions in inventory. You work your way up and he seems to be doing well... I started watching his videos for a watch I was interested in but I stayed cause the entrepreneurial journey makes for a great story.
+1
What happened about the TAX referenced at 0.06 seconds. You never did answer the question.
Did mention he was âgoing away for a whileâ đ€Ł
@@conradjoseph5663 Hopefully not H.M.P.
I would like to learn how to sell watches and how to acquire it.
flashing a watch around in the street in London. Very brave
Itâs all about judgement, some people have got it, & some donât. đđ
Great video Phil. But seeing your one trainer with laces hanging out gave me anxiety! Keep up the gpod work mate.
Backpack full of watches, picks up a watch and while still outside says it's genuine. Something not quite right with this lad.
"These would usually absolutely fly, like they would fly - and I've even advertised them ridiculously cheap, so I've either not hit the right audience with who I'm trying to sell these too, or, yeah people just aren't buying"
......or people just don't trust a bloke with a backpack as an office, and no apparent physical business behind him. So, you'll consider selling back to the trade - which makes zero sense. At least you'll get your tax/VAT back on the loss , right.
Oh, then you say watch dealing is not difficult?? But you struggle selling two of the most in demand sports watches? It's like watching [pardon me] two different people.
Everybody has already got 5 steel sportsâŠ.. what you think they are going to do when the driveway needs paving ? People who currently own these watches are just not rich enough to have 4/5/6 piece collections worth 50-100k gbpâŠ. The stock is in weak hands !

Are you going to prison because you donât pay taxes? đ đ
The politics of envy strikes again
VAT registration after 85k of taxable sales or turnover so that happens pretty quickly in hi end watch game... But maybe he's had more cash sales with ppl who don't mind
Like a good wine!! Youâre channelâs improving with age!! Well done mate!!
Messaged him twice about a watch. Zero response.
Message on both of his Instagram pages, watch life one and his personal page, go on his website and message him there as well

Are you going for a job interview?
Well that was a boring 24hours
Why sell to a dealer for really cheap instead of a customer for really cheap? đ€·đœââïžđ€·đœââïžđ€·đœââïž
he expalined that people aren't buying so tha'ts really the only option other than waiting
The hidden question is âwhy not sell to the end user at the price you intend to sell to the dealers?â. If Philâs saying thatâs what heâs selling at, then all good. If not, then I probably still need some schoolingâŠ.
@@taitun4life itâs not really a question that you help other people out in your sector to get help back I run a mechanics garage and if another local mechanic needed me to do a job Iâd do it at a slightly discounted rate as we are all in the same boat if needing to earn money if I charge him at a customer rate he canât charge his customer that rate and make a little bit of money on it where as we both earn money if I discount slightly
Hey Guys I got a question, do watch sellers use advertisements as a way to help sell their watches?
Off on Jury duty for 2 weeks. . .it will be you in court soon Phil, pay your taxes and stop selling counterfeit watches

Someoneâs getting comfortable
Proper watch experts said this would happen. Ye man. Sell to trade. Sometimes it happens lol
Why you are not in suit?
Definitely think that's a ~ÂŁ2,300 per month studio flat

how much is GMT please DM price
Keep up the good work Phil! Ignore the haters trolling đđ»
Too many haters in the comments
He's making a lot of money, haters in the comment section arent making any
Hi mate, how did you start? Thanksđ
By buying a watch
First đ„
People arenât buy because of the cost of living and potential recession. If I were a buyer Iâd wait until winter, thatâs when this stuff will hit the fan as most people canât afford to buy a watch over food or heating their homes
Probably most of those in the market for a Rolex are wealthy enough to afford their energy bill.
androgynous tool aching to be robbed in canary wharf.
Hey Phil I emailed Thursday 18th. I guess I will hear back from you in due course as you are away for 2 weeks, cheers mate
First time here.
It is a fun channel, but, I also want to say, you MUST get a car.
I can' believe you make a channel, telling the world that you carry on you watches of over ÂŁ50k IN LONDON, on a daily basis...
Man, be careful, we know what London is like, you are making yourself an easy target.

they donât want to tell us the price they are going for, itâs the whole problem with this âgreyâ market that has destroyed Rolex
Trade sale
@@glenrichards8508 they donât want to show the loss they are moving the watch at and the new price they should be trading at so they just trade the watches back and fourth to each other. Itâs how the prices got so high in the first place. I think 90% of the âsalesâ we have been seeing for say stainless daytonas at $45-50k are really trades between dealers to falsely inflate the price and occasionally they catch a fish. No person with $50k to spend is going to spend $50k on a stainless daytona purely out of principal. I know this because Iâm one of them. I have a white gold daytona on oyster that I wanted and paid $1000 above retail a few years ago because I wanted it and knew it would be difficult to get but I would never pay double.
